Today was an off day. Been coming here for almost 10 years. First time I had a terrible experience. I asked if there was live crawfish. Lady said yes. It was $10.99/lb. When I got home with my food, the crawfish was not fresh. It was frozen. I ordered 1lb of shrimp and it was overcooked. I got two boiled eggs and those eggs were wayyyy overcooked. I didn’t eat them.
Also ordered the 2 fish and 6 shrimp with shrimp fried rice and that was the only good thing. I waited $77. I want a refund but I don’t think they even do that. Highly disappointed.
The AC felt like it wasn’t working inside either.

I really don’t like having to say this, but I’ve noticed some inconsistencies in the atmosphere during my recent visits. I’ve been coming here for over 13 years, and it has honestly been one of my favorite places. However, the experience today is something I can’t overlook.
My husband and I stopped in for Sunday lunch, and we were not greeted. It genuinely felt as though our presence was an inconvenience to one of the employees. She is usually very kind, which made today’s interaction even more surprising. Her demeanor toward us was noticeably cold and distant. When our food was brought out, nothing was said. Meanwhile, her interactions with other guests appeared warm and pleasant.
It truly pains me to say this, but based on today’s experience, I don’t feel comfortable returning. The level of disregard we experienced is not something I can I literally ignore . I grew up here in Klein. This has always been a go-to meet-up spot for me and my friends over the years. I’ve also recommended Drunken Oyster to so many people because I truly enjoyed coming here. That’s why this experience feels especially disheartening and disappointing to me.

The Drunken Oyster is a simple neighborhood spot with incredible fried seafood. The raw oysters were exquisite. Cold beer and chill vibes. The staff are friendly and sweet. The new how to separate the kids to one side of the restaurant. Incredible badder!

I was told the crawfish were really good here. They were telling the truth. Those things were fantastic. Juicy and flavorful. I loved the corn and potato too. There is a handwashing sink nearby.
You order at the counter and they bring it to you. Get your own drink too.

If you don’t like this place LOVE it Actually, your a weirdo… That’s all I have to say.. I will be coming back 100000 percent great food better than most restaurants! Looks like a hole in the wall on the outside but seriously you need to get in there!!!! It’s great!!!!

Second time there and place is wonderful, food is really good, loved the Shrimp, Fish and Fajita taco plate, the Fish and Shrimp rice was mouthwatering, the Butter and Garlic Snow Crab and Shrimp are well prepared. Lucky (Owner) is an amazing and cool guy and easy to talk to, the girls serving are attentive and ready to serve.

My beloved husband and I was in Amarillo for a beautiful wedding and we ate here our entire time there! Will recommend food was hot and fresh! We had The Fry Basket, Calamari, differ drinks and The Cajun Boil! Delicious, season was perfect and our waiters was Wonderful including the nice Ban! Can’t wait to return. Dallas Texas

This place was okay. We went on a weekday a bit past lunch time. We ordered a seafood boil of shrimp and snow crab. Beware, the PHYSICAL menu shows one price and what they ring up is a different price. Shrimp on the menu shows $18.36 but rings up $19.10 I believe. The snow crab price on the menu is $23.89 but rings up $28 something. They don’t tell you unless you’re looking at what they are ringing up, you get a slight discount if you pay cash versus card. The boil itself was okay, the corn was overcooked and it wasn’t as flavorful as other boils I’ve had. You get to pick between garlic butter, Louisiana, or mixed. One of our boils was mixed, the other boil was only ordered with garlic butter due to my niece having some. They delivered two mixed seafood boils, and when asked which one was ONLY garlic butter they pointed to one out of the two. They looked and tasted the same, my niece was not able to have any due to the slight spice. We also ordered drinks, which they forgot until reminded. The margarita didn’t have a salt/tajin/sugar rim, it tasted like mango margarita mix concentrate, even though we asked for specific tequila. Overall, it was okay. It’s around the corner from my parents home so it’s convenient. I wouldn’t return unless they have specials going on.

Absolutely amazing!! My boyfriend and I ordered raw oysters and crawfish. The oysters were fresh and the crawfish had so much flavor!! Service was amazing as well. This is our new spot!
