Me and my husband absolutely love this Polish restaurant—it’s one of our all-time favorites, and we’ve been coming here regularly. We are both Polish and this is the only Polish restaurant in the area that is truly authentic.
Last Saturday, we celebrated our court wedding by getting dinner here with our
family and highlander house made it truly special. We are both so happy we choose this restaurant.The food was delicious as always, with generous portions. The prices are reasonable and that makes this restaurant an easy choice for both everyday dinners and special occasions.
What really touched us was how the staff went above and beyond—they surprised us by beautifully decorating our table for the celebration, which made the night feel even more memorable. Our server, Patrick, was incredibly attentive and kind, making sure everything ran smoothly for our group of parents and siblings. The customer service was excellent from start to finish.
This place holds a special spot in our hearts now, and we’ll absolutely be coming back for future events and dinners. Thank you to the whole team for making our court wedding dinner so warm and unforgettable!

I’m not polish but this place makes you want to learn more about polish culture and food. Kind and friendly service, live music (weekends only I think), great drinks selection, amazing food (I recommend the European plater so you can try a bit of everything!) and at a very affordable price. Definitely one of my favorite places in the south suburbs!

Polish food and Polish beer is an incredible combination. I had perogis, a potato pancake, and roasted potatoes, and it was some of the best food I’ve ever had. The beer was great too, I will definitely be returning every time im in the Chicago area.
Edit: Ate here again, the only thing that changed is the live music (which is apparently every Sunday), and I now wish I could give more stars! What a great place, among the top 5 places I have ever eaten. I’ve lost 30 lbs over the past month, and gained it all back in one meal here – no regrets. Literally everything is incredible, if you’re reading this to decide, just go.

My fiancé and I walked in at 6:53pm tonight, 02/24/2026. We waited at the host stand for a moment and were told that all dining room tables were full but we could grab a bar top seat if we’d like (female server in the red skirt told us this). We went ahead and did this… and then sat at the bar top for 23 minutes, with not one person offering us a menu, a water, or even greeting us. Several staff members walked past us, acknowledging every guest around us, but not us. The staff even stopped to chat with the people to the left and right of us, asking them if they could get them anything, pouring beers, pouring shots, but still not acknowledging us once.
At 7:17pm we made the decision to leave and go elsewhere.
The kicker to this? We are booked at their wedding venue, Signature Barn Banquets for June. How disheartening and disappointing. If this is how the service is at their restaurant, how will it be at the wedding venue? We are really second-guessing the fact that we have booked at this venue.
Were we treated this way because we didn’t walk in, speaking Polish? Were we treated this way because we weren’t regulars? I guess we will never know. But again, how disheartening when we are about to have a wedding in about 3 months at their wedding venue.

Just a great Polish restaurant. Food was very good. The Fresh Polish sausage was delicious, reminded me of the sausage my dad made. The cabbage rolls also took me back to my childhood. The staff was very nice. The clientele was having a good time. A LOT of Polish conversations! Will be back for sure!

First time at a Polish restaurant and I must say that the food was amazing! Very tasty and you get a lot for your money. The service as well was great. We had the pleasure to have Alexandra help us and she’s an amazing person. Very helpful and attentive. I got to try some of my friends meals and everything was sooo goood! I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to try Polands food.

This is about as authentic as you could get. Services good. The place is as clean as anyone would expect a Polish restaurant. Prices are reasonable. The menu is good. However, they really need to work on their desserts. Those were very disappointing. All in all, it’s worth the trip. You feel as though you left the US and went to Poland.

Okay. This use to be my favorite restaurant with Polish food. I use to order door dash up to 4 times a month. Something changed. Last 3 orders were absolutely disgusting. Eropean plate looks like someone puked in the box. Pierogi zero flavor, overcooked Potato pancake reheated dry and hard. Cabbage – slime. It was so bad and sausage is undercooked. Mushroom sauce and cabbage roll was okay but definitely made a few days ago

Can I speak out about short people with bad knees and the average barstool? The two do not cooperate. Trying to get on a bar stool is skin to mounting a skittish horse side saddle. It keeps scooching away. Enough about atmosphere except to say the live music was quite enthusiastic. Three stringed instruments and an accordion. Is yodeling a thing in Polish society? One musician was attempting some version of a yodel.
The potatoes pancakes. Everything else was ok, more than ok. The potato pancake was exceptionally good. I think I would be fine with all my future potatoes being these potato pancakes.
The kielbasa was perfect. A bit of a crispy snap then tender garlic laden meat.
The pierogi were better than any I’ve had elsewhere.
I tried borsch for the first time. A vinegar tinged broth with a hint of beets.
The sauerkraut was very mellow and the stuffed cabbage was mildly seasoned and tender. The tomato sauce was sweet. Reminded me of Campbell’s tomato soup, minus the canned soup taste. A convivial pairing.
