New China Buffet is one of mine and my roommate’s favorite Chinese restraunts in town. Please don’t let the outside of the building fool you. Food has always been fresh and tasty. Pricing is definitely reasonable. On the rare occasion you find something that is not warm, the manager will jump right on it and make sure a fresh hot pan is brought out. We have always had a pleasant dining experience.

Ok. If you know me, you know i like Asian food. This place almost scared me off from the look of the building. But when i pulled into the parking lot i saw lots of cars. They were the lunch crowd for sure.
Cautiously we went in and the interior looked old even if it was clean, it still looked dated. But we stayed. I found everything i put on my plate to be hot enough and tasty. I can tell you about many better looking places that fail just on the foods warmth and even more on flavor. Ok so i was happy with the items i got all three times to thr buffet line.
So now im looking who’s in here with me.
People were coming in like a bus was dropping them off. I knew then that this has got to be a good spot in this town. I assumed most of the people were locals. , and i almost always follow locals when it comes to places to eat.
Also everyone of the staff was friendly. It actually felt genuine compared to my favorite Asain buffet in Jensen Bch Fl.
*Now i have 2 places ill pull off i-95 for in Florence SC

Love the food here. Their sister restaurant in Myrtle Beach is the bomb. This one is New China lite because it’s half the size of the one in Myrtle. Pretty sure it’s an all asian staff so they have the cooking techniques down. The pepper steak, chicken wings, and sesame chicken are great. I don’t do yellow fried rice so had the steamed rice instead. The building is a little run down but the price is right so can’t complain. Better than Lui’s.

A standard Chinese buffet. The food is great! That host is always smiling, we are always invited back and thanked multiple times as we are leaving. Guys, watch out for those 1-star reviewers. Open their Google Guide profiles and look at their other reviews and you get a clear picture as to why their repeating low reviews should be ignored. Try these guys out and see for yourself. I done here a every time we’re in Florence and it’s always a good experience!

Absolutely terrible DO NOT GO it’s not clean an the food was not good at all an the service terrible an there prices are outrageous for that hard dried up not good food an they charge 10$ for a 3year old i do not recommend at all they should be shut down

The place is filthy. The carpet is dirty, food on the floors. We let that go and tried the food. Buffet had average selection. Tasted good though. While patrons eating they were washing down the kitchen (it was 8 pm on a Saturday) which opens up next to the buffet, water all over. Not the greatest place. Would not recommend for lack of cleanliness.

The outside of the building looks like an old western sizzler. New handicap doors but did have ramps. Plenty of parking and plenty of seating. The food was on point but the bathrooms were definitely lacking of some remodeling.
