I used to love seafood, and then I went Vegan 6 years ago. Mug & Mallet offers a vegan menu with selection of vegan cheeses. From shrimp, crabcake, and fish, so many offerings. Either the platter or tacos, and even a shrimp cocktail. They also have a beyond burger if you’re not a fan of the vegan seafood. They also offer the full real seafood menu for the omnivores in my extended family.
We love the atmosphere on the boardwalk and sitting outside on one of the picnic tables. They lay the paper on the table and give the kids crayons to keep them busy. Food comes out quick and we usually play a couple games of tic tac toe and people watch. Usually the cup guy is out there pulling oranges out of them and confusing people.
This is a must dine for anyone. I like that I can still have the seafood experience at the beach again. Thank you Mug & Mallet!

We were craving crab cakes and they didn’t disappoint. Crab cakes were full of meat and flavor. For appetizer, do yourself a favor and order the crab dip. Our server was very friendly, always checking on us. Definitely coming back.

Best crabs we have ever had! We went on a rainy day. Corn and shrimp were delicious. A great bang for your buck! We sat inside but there is outdoor seating as well.

My boyfriend finally got his blue crabs. He loved them. He said they were delicious. My cheeseburger was ok too. Watermelon crush was tasty as well. My only complaint would be to put a second fan on your lower level outdoor dining to keep the flies away. It was definitely bothersome. Overall we enjoyed the meal.

Fun experience on the boardwalk, the crab steamer pot was delicious, as was the Maryland Crab Chowder. The shrimp was a little bland. Hostess could be a little more friendly, otherwise a good lunch overall.

Right on the boardwalk so very convenient. The portion was big . I thought 2 corn on the cobs would mean for 2 so my friend and I split the order. We couldn’t even finish everything.

Went with a group of friends and had a great experience! Seafood is fresh and priced fair for the boardwalk location. Crabs are seasoned well and the kids enjoyed the corn. The steamer pots had plenty of food to share…looking forward to returning next season!

Seen people eating and thought it looked great so decided to stop. My friend got a seafood dish with crab legs and I got the crab puff. Mine was overly salty with lots of shell pieces. The drinks were good . I got a dirty banana and it was good. The corn on the cob didnt come with butter or anything, you husk it yourself and they forgot his. We paid a total of 134 for the 2 of us. He did get 2 beers.

Dinner was great. We were able to quickly be seated. You do have to go downstairs to get in the restaurant so it isn’t always accessible to everyone but there is room on the boardwalk if you can leave behind any gear. The server was lovely, met every request, and engaged with our kids. They also have a kids menu coloring page/crayons which is a huge perk because I feel like many places are getting away from this.
