If you want some great Jamaican meals as well as American give Yardy’s a go! I tried the oxtails and catfish with side of warm corn bread and everything was delicious❤️ This is definitely the go to when we’re in AC! Upon entering the establishment, i knew the jerk chicken part was a lie. You don’t smell food when you walk in. You smell old cooking oil. The state of the store is depressing. The decor is tired, and the dirty ceiling fan made it worse. Wait.. the missing ceiling panels were the worst, no… the trash can that looked like it was brought from outside. There is so much wrong with this food establishment!

Plantains extremely oily and half cooked
The chicken!! Baked with an awful jerk rub on it. The chicken still had feathers and was obviously the cheapest chicken they could find. Huge ugly and disgusting.
If anyone claims the food at this establishment is good…they are either lying or never had authentic Jamaican food.
Please stop advertising as a real Jamaican food spot. The menu alone says otherwise. No real Jamaican restaurant has BLT or tuna wraps on the menu. This restaurant needs an overhaul. It needs to shrink the menu and focus on making those items better.
Buy better chicken and clean it. Season the chicken with salt, paprika, garlic powder, and buy a mild jerk sauce in the store rub to on the chicken. Let that marinate overnight in refrigerator. If you have to bake and not grill, start at 350 for 20-30 minutes. Then increase to 400 degrees Fahrenheit until internal temp reaches at least 170 degrees Fahrenheit and chicken looks appealing. Chop chicken in atleast 4 pieces! Reduce price and serve good food.

My first time eating here and it was outstanding . I took the food to go and it was still piping hot by the time I got back to my hotel . The service was good. The prices are super reasonable, and the food was delicious.
Hopefully everything will be just as great when I come back this summer . It seems every time I find a good restaurant in the area. It changes after a year or two. I hope this restaurant doesn’t change a thing cause it’s absolutely delicious.

I got the curry chicken special with dark meat, rice and peas, and cabbage. Everything about the platter is great. The flavor is classic and comforting. And the portion was great for the price. I didn’t get pictures of the other plates but they were all delicious looking.

I must say this restaurant gets a five star from me. I’ve been here on vacation since Wednesday and been wasting my money on the nastiest food on this boardwalk up until today when I found this restaurant on Uber eats. I know what southern food supposed to taste like because my family is from the island and this is it. the prices may be a little high but the amount of food that is given is definitely worth it. I would recommend everyone to try this place out. I will definitely be eating here again when I come back.

A short well worth it walk from the Hard Rock. Ordered oxtail with collards and rice and beans. The box had to have weighed 2 lbs. Expecting the usual box full of rice and beans with 4 oz of meat. Floored when I opened the box and could barely see the collards and rice and beans. Very impressed with the portions and justified at $27.50. The oxtail was perfect, tender, juicy with the perfect amount of fat. The meal would have fed two grown men and left nothing to be desired. For a break from overpriced Casino food take a nice walk to a wonderful meal that will stick to your ribs. The cashier was wonderful along with everyone I interacted with during my visit. I only wish I were going to be around AC a little longer to try some of the other amazing looking dishes they offer. Overall this is a great find and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something home cooked and delicious.

Our catering order from Kelsey & Kim’s fell through, so I called Yardy’s and they were able to accommodate me with a same day catering order! I called them around 11am and they made me two full trays of macaroni and cheese, 1 tray or corn bread and 100 chicken wings by 2pm. The food absolutely blew me away, I have never purchased food from a restaurant that has tasted so good. This is truly like homemade food straight from a family kitchen.

THE FOOD WAS FRESH!!! I decided to order from their soul food menu and the food was nice and hot! The whiting was a lil salty and the yams I can tell were from the can otherwise that the Mac and Cheese was pretty good. GOOD FRESH GREENS!

Took a trip to Atlantic City was surprised to see a Jamaican food store! Let me tell u this Do NOt Do It! The food is horrible and I wouldn’t feed it to my dog! The rice is old and nasty. The gravy tastes like prison food and threat is uncooked. The fried chicken is unseasoned and nasty! The bbq chicken was not cooked, not edible all of it had to be thrown in the trash I am not sure why this place is still in business. The absolute worst food I have ever tasted. I couldn’t bring myself to eat that garbage! U guys really need to pack
