Walked in and sat at the bar for about 10 minutes before anyone even realized we were there and it wasn’t busy.. told the young lady what we wanted(margaritas) which they ended up pouring from a cooler) figured since it was taco night I’d try something new, what a mistake.. tastes like bad lemonade.. proceeded to order tacos.. saltiest tacos I’ve ever had.. needless to say the worst heartburn I’ve had in about 2yrs.. enjoy music wasn’t bad

Rambling interior right on the south west corner of 30th and MLK.
Excellent service. Bartender server Tristan made my wife a scratch sangria. Excellent.
Super fun atmosphere. Big tables comfortable spacing.
Our side salad was huge and refreshing with a ginger vinagrete on the side.
But the prize was the grouper fish and chips.
Chef Jim hit it out of the park. Super tasty light breading, cooked perfect. Crispy exterior with tender moist grouper, mild and yummy.
Fries fresh cut and yummy. Side of creamy slaw paired perfect with the grouper.

Ok, this is a great little dive bar with some really good food. Came here to specifically for the wings, and they did not disappoint. Huge, seasoned well, cooked perfectly (crispy outside and still juicy).

A neighborhood staple! I grew up a few blocks away from here and have always enjoyed coming here. It has such a wonderful local attitude with tasty fun food great music and indoor, outdoor or half and half seating.. we did enjoy the fish dip with crackers onions and tomatoes.. I would have taken pictures, but I was hungry and it disappeared before I did… Good to see Maria still there, can’t wait to hang here again soon!!

The bar has the looks and attitude of a dive bar but in the end feels more like a neighborhood beach hangout without the beach. There is a small indoor area with pool tables but the main bar is a large covered patio. Nothing to impress a date with or to broaden your culinary knowledge but the fast service, affordable prices, and a fun mix of old and young(er) patrons makes it a good place for a nightcap and for some conversations outside your bubble.
