We were really excited to try this beachfront, dining experience, but we were a little disappointed. The batter on the fish and chips was very thick and tasted super greasy. My husband ended up just eating the fish out of the breading. I ordered the coconut shrimp and I feel that 25 bucks for six shrimps is crazy to come with NO sides. The shrimp themselves were just OK – and no they were not jumbo. (The plate was small) The price point here is definitely off and the portions are a little askew. For instance, you can get a huge bowl of onion rings for 12 bucks and while they’re good … there is no other size. The menu, portions and price doesn’t seem very well thought out and the food wasn’t very good. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re on Oahu there’s much better places to go.

Also, the actual dining area was kind of gross. There was water everywhere. The tables and chairs were gross.

Not sure why the raiting is so low, but I was close and decided to try this place out and it didn’t disappoint. My server Crystal was very attentive and nice, she helped me pick up the best options for both drinks and food. I ordered Longboards sunset to drink and ahi tuna nachos, and both were amazing! I’ve read some reviews about soggy nachos but I just had them right now and the chips were crispy and was abundantly covered with tuna and dressing. It also came on a bed of greens, which was lovely. The drink was delicious, enough sweetness and alcohol, great mix! I decided that I wanted some more food, so I ordered coconut shrimp too. All dishes arrived almost momentarily! What a service! And a pleasant addition is an amazing sunset to watch. You know what I’m going to say Highly recommend!

Expensive, but we’re in Hawaii at a resort.
We had the pulled pork nachos, “ribs” (which was actually pot roast), mahi mahi, chicken sandwich on a pita, tuna sandwich on Hawaiian bread, egg breakfast and Hawaiian bread French toast which were all fantastic! The margarita I had was very strong, and the chocolate lava cake with ice cream was awesome.
They do offer various drink packages for coffee and soft drinks depending on your length of stay.
The Friday night live entertainer was wonderful!

We had 9 hours before our flight home. Decided to try this place that is in the Marriott Vacation Club property. (I didn’t know that when I looked it up on yelp). We drove over and Valet the car and walked out to the restaurant. All I can say is Wow! Great location in there lagoon area. A breeze blowing and the food was exellent!

Beautiful setting right on the beach. Great vibes. Slow service. Maybe they are on hawaii time, may have been short staffed. Nice staff. Expensive food. Maybe try happy hour. Sunset was thr best part of the experience.

We were at this resort for six nights, from mid to the end of January. We ate dinner there twice . The food is phenomenal for the price. Prices in Oahu are generally insane, but for Ko Olina at a Marriott property, what you get for the price you pay (around $30 per plate) for dinner is an amazing deal. The menu is not that large ; there’s a nice variety even for picky eaters. Their truffle parm fries are out of this world ; make sure to upgrade your fries . The smashburger and their Japanese curry-wow! I am not a curry fan, but this changed my mind . Their drinks are overpriced at roughly $20 plus tax, but they are amazing . Order yours with a floater of your choice; it is a better deal than getting two drinks. Okay, so the part that’s not as positive is the somewhat miserable set of waitstaff. I understand that dinner time is prime time for them , as there are limited dining options in that hotel, but it looks like they are permanently short-staffed . Would it hurt to be kind and smile? We almost felt like an inconvenience to the waitstaff , which makes me sad. They could also do something to make the dining area more appealing. I mean, this is a Marriott resort property in upscale Ko Olina. A back part of the restaurant (half of the dining area) makes you feel like you are in a cheap eatery somewhere in Mexico.

This food is absolutely disgusting. I ordered a burger and it tasted so freezer burnt, I took one bite and COULD NOT eat the rest. Over priced, previously frozen (and not frozen well), thrown together without a care.

The garlic fries and virgin piña colada were the only things that were actually edible.

In addition to two All American Burgers, we ordered the poke nachoes, and Dynamite Calamari. I would not allow my daughter to eat the nachos for fear she would get sick, as we have a flight tomorrow. I have included a pic of the hideous/sorry excuse for calamari.

This came out to approximately $130-

Shameful!

Not only this restaurant extremely overpriced (22-25 a small drink), the nachos were so disgusting. I don’t think I’ve eaten anything worse in my life. They use fake liquid cheese and the nachos were super soggy.
Will never return.. our server was so lovely + atmosphere was great, but food was really gross.

We ate here and also ordered delivery while staying at the resort so sampled several dishes and drinks. The poke bowl and poke nachos were both great and good portions. I also liked the chicken katsu. When we dined in, the service was friendly and efficient. They gave us a good table to view the sunset (most of the tables have a good view).
