Probably the best Southern homestyle place around. Best fried green tomatoes I had for sure. Country fried steak was delicious.

Make a detour to here.

Did the drive thru.

I love the food at this place! If you like home style cooked food this is a place to go. Everything I’ve had here was delicious. The prices are reasonable. The ambiance is what you would expect. Come here if you want good home-cooked food. If you want a elegant night out this isn’t the place. If you want good home-cooked food at a reasonable price this is the place!

Loved going here for 30 years now. Used to be a “little bit” better back then when they had the old custard banana pudding but still have a great meat and three selection that never disappoints. Lots of choices and they are all great!

The Paw Paw Patch serves home grown food served cafeteria style. You get a meat and 2 veggies for $9.99 but you can add additional veggies for $1-$3. I got fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, macaroni and cheese, and slaw. My husband got the hamburger steak, okra, and butter beans. It was all fantastic-tasting, homemade southern food. The majority of the crowd here is senior citizens, but that usually correlates to good and cheap, which this definitely does. We will be back. 10/10

This is the place to come if you want down home cooking atits finest. Whenever I am nearby at lunch time I always choose Paw Paw Catch. The food is cooked to perfection and there’s plenty of variety. This cafeteria style restaurant has meats and vegetables as well as delicious desserts. The staff will make you feel right at home and the price will absolutely leave with a smile on your face. Great food, even better prices and they are open for lunch and dinner. They haven’t been around as long as they have without being the best choice.

A colleague and I went through the drive thru for some lunch. It was right at noon and the parking lot was packed. Even so, we ordered our meals and had them in hand within a couple minutes.

The staff at the window were very pleasant.

The food was delicious! I had one of their Wednesday specials: meatloaf. I got the squash casserole (yum!), fried green tomatoes (yum yum!) and the jalapeño cornbread (triple yum!). The portion sizes are generous. I paid $11.37 with tax.

This was my first meal from this spot but I’d definitely go back.

I came here almost 5yrs ago while traveling from up north. This week I had a chance to revisit this place.
The atmosphere was good, service was okay… I personally love a waiter that’s friendly and welcoming but we didn’t get that experience This time. I still tipped her though. 2 plates for $25 kinda pricey considering one was a kids plate. The receipt don’t break down the price either. That’s kinda suspicious to me but that’s neither here nor there today!!
Food could’ve been better this time. Mac was overcooked but tasty and chicken was very dry (overcooked) but tasty. Overall I’m not discouraged from coming again to have a third experience. I dont eat pork or care for fried foods so more options would’ve been nice for people like me. Maybe baked chicken would’ve been good since they was serving fried pork chops. A balanced between foods are important especially for a foodie.
