Chicago is so lucky to have a restaurant as amazing as Offset BBQ! My cousin and I stopped in today for lunch and we ordered a half slab of St. Louis ribs, and the BBBLT Sammie. Both came with one side so we chose the mac n cheese and the waffle fries. We started with the sandwich and immediately we were both blown away. The bread was perfectly toasted, and all the ingredients came together perfectly. Every bite was perfection. We both rated it a 10 out of 10. The waffle fries also very good. Then we dug into the ribs. Great sauce and a smokey tender meat that fell off the bone. The cole slaw was good too and I’m usually not a big cole slaw person but I found myself taking a few more bites even though I was almost full. To wrap up our amazing lunch we got to try the banana pudding and it was also a can’t miss menu item. I will definitely be coming back and telling everyone to go check out offset bbq. The staff was super professional, nice, and attentive to our drinks being replenished. Couldn’t have asked for a better first experience.

The meat was perfectly smoked and packed with rich, wonderful flavor. The sauces? Incredible.
I had the pulled chicken sandwich with a side of very cheesy cauliflower—and wow, it was so good. Moist, flavorful, and topped with pickles and an amazing coleslaw.
This is a finger-licking kind of restaurant.

Offset BBQ did not disappoint. The pork was tender and flavorful, the smoked brisket was juicy with a perfect smoke ring, and the sides like greens and coleslaw were fresh and well balanced.
Service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and authentic. Definitely one of the best spots for quality BBQ and ribs in Chicago — I’ll be back.

By far one of the best BBQ spots in Chicago and I lived closer to SmoQue and still went here sometimes. The owners and staff are very friendly and they serve excellent BBQ. The Brisket, Ribs and Rib sandwich are killer and the Waffle Fries are awesome! I moved to Indiana and this is one of the top places I miss the most about Chicago food! If you’re in the area, check them out. Hell, even if you’re not in the area it’s worth the trip, plus it has a bar as well! Enjoy!

Just found a new favorite spot in Chicago. Offset Barbecue. Honestly maybe one of the top three briskets I’ve had. And for sure #1 for biscuits and Gravy. Did the 4 meat platter. Brisket, Sausage, Pulled Pork, Chicken. Sadly My belly could not keep up with the rest of the menu…. To be continued

The food tasted like it was cooked in an oven… did not taste smoked AT ALL, had no flavor to anything, the beef sausage was the best thing on the try, I came for the brisket and it tasted like NOTHING, I’m so disappointed. The most flavor came from the chicken.. EVERYTHING NEEDED SALT but if you like sauces, their sauces make up for the salt.. the sauces are good, my favorite was the horseradish.. the Mac and cheese felt like I was chew on wet flour, taste nasty, brisket chili tasted like regular chili, I’m upset… cold slaw need salt and pepper n was ok, rib was ok, just no smoke taste. you guy probably got a high review because only YT people come here and don’t know what real flavor is and don’t care but I cook fr and I know what good foo is and this place is not it, use some liquid smoke or something if you’re gonna cook that in an oven.. yall foo need that Smokey taste.

My husband and I tried Offset BBQ for the first time, and overall, we really enjoyed it! We ordered the “Meet the Meats” plate, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and smoky, and everything was well-seasoned. The only small downside for me was that I love my food piping hot it was warm, but I prefer it hotter.
The drinks were a highlight! I had the mango margarita, and it was sweet, smooth, and so refreshing. I also tried the strawberry lemonade, and it was just as delicious perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. And I have to give a special shoutout to the cornbread moist, flavorful, and easily one of the best I’ve had.
The overall vibe was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff was friendly. We’ll definitely be going back!

I’ve been here a few times before and every time it’s a hit! They have a decent size bar with various specials and delicious food. I really like the Queso Fondido, the pork sandwhich, the elotes, bbq chicken too!! They make everything in house here and the service is great! I will keep coming back.

Food is fine. Some of their special sauces are amazing and go great with the ribs. The ribs were spicy and my wife and kid couldn’t eat them since they don’t like spicy food.
The ribs were a bit dry for my taste, but my friends did like them. Also, I guess I’m definitely not a fan of brisket, I didn’t like it.
Service was good once we were seated. However, they got us waiting for 20 minutes for a table even when they had a space in the back full of empty tables.

Waitress was excellent. Alexandra (Kirsten Dunst) did a wonderful job. She joked with us and made us feel welcome. The food was terrific. Chicken, cornbread, and brisket chili. I got the sandwich with brisket and a hamburger patty. Side order of cornbread. Delicious!!!
