I went on a Saturday night. Place was packed and we were places in 20 minutes. I ordered the cheeseburger and it was juicy. My waiter was fast and brought out the right food. Atmosphere was lively and loud and there was a band. Price was reasonable for the amount you get. Overall the dinner was an enjoyable experience.

We’ve been in TV for three years and love Brownwood for so many reasons — City Fire – Brownwood is always a fun time. Their original music and themed nights are a blast and keep every visit entertaining.

But the real reason we keep coming back is the staff. Tavis is exceptional — an outstanding bartender and an even better human. No matter how busy it gets, he always greets you with a smile and makes sure everyone is taken care of. He handles a wide variety of customers with care and professionalism, and we can’t say enough good things about him.

Kudos as well to Corky and the rest of the team — friendly, welcoming, and a big part of what makes City Fire so special. Highly recommend stopping by!

We got here at 8pm and were seated very quickly! We usualy order drinks first then look over the menu but it took so long for the server to get to us that we ordered our drinks and food at the same time. They were not very busy by the way so this was a bit odd. The server did bring us water, that was good, but never once refilled it. We got our food, after a bit of a long wait, and not being checked on at all. We had to remind the server that we had ordered drinks. The food was ok but I would not recommend anything that we got. We got a Rubin, flatbread pizza, and a Taco salad. The Espresso Martini’s were very good!!

White flatbread was yummy(added spinach), so was the burger. They really needed another bartender, took a while to get a drink and then another while to order. Didn’t wait to get a second drink.

What a fun place! We even played bingo! Good food. Busy so our server was very divided.

Very friendly staff with good service and a busy vibe.

The best part of our meal was the appetizer but the rest did not disappoint either.

Our waiter was awesome and timely.

Recommend this place for sure.

Had great food and Cynthia was wonderful. Best french dip ive had in ages. In fact, most places I won’t even order that because I’m sometimes disappointed. But this one was amazing. Quite loaded with me to tender juicy. It was not fatty. Husband had the Cuban sandwich and he enjoyed it. It is on a flat bread which was slightly different but he said it was definitely good. We also had the French Onion soup which was also very good.
The only thing that they can be dinged on in my opinion on this visit was the table was so rickety and offset. We were afraid to touch it because it shook so much that our food almost spilled. But apparently they’re working on changing those out. We will definitely be back. Besides the pictures of the food, I also had to share a photo of one of the toilet stalls to where the door is too big for the toilet so they did a complete nacho. I’ve seen this at one other restaurant but it still makes me laugh when I see places do that.

Cool spot, nice interior vibe. Also, had an outdoor patio space. Right in the heart of Brownwood Paddock.
Went for lunch, just before Bingo started. Waitress said it gets wild for Bingo so try to avoid Bingo unless you are an aggressive Bingo player.
Our waitress was terrific, friendly and attentive, even with her many tables. She was amazing.
Food was good, nothing wild. But good bar type food. We split the French Dip, came out HOT , which wad a plus. Most around here comes out room temp. We also had the blue cheese chips. Those were simple yet delicious.
There is a space for a band so assuming on evenings they have a live band. We’ll go again.

Was hoping for a better tasting food. We got the wings but they were slow cooked with some lemon pepper sauce. They were also extra fatty. My salad was also nothing to rave about. Only good thing was the friendly service from our waiter.
