Had heard nothing but great reviews regarding this Diner and oh were people right as rain!! The food was really good and such HUGE portions. Bring your appetite if eating here. This has just became my favorite breakfast place. A true Diner experience with outstanding food.

I loved this place, was great in every aspect. We got there in the morning off the recommendation of my GF who grew up in the area.
I can see why she recommended the place as well as why it has been in business successfully for as long as they have.
The pancakes are HUGE, be warned cause one is enough. Any more is madness if you are looking to not take anything home. The biscuits and gravy you could share a full order with a second person and have enough.
I love how small and warm the place felt. Really captured the small café vibe that just speaks to my native Iowan heart.
10/10 place and I really couldn’t find a negative. I even bought a coffee mug cause I enjoyed it so much.

Foods good, omelets are just scrambled eggs with meats in it. The cakes are huge and pretty good. Hashbrowns were very good. Prices are insane not worth it in my eyes 19 dollars for scrambled eggs and Hashbrowns is crazy

Im so happy to have finally had the opportunity to visit for breakfast. 3 years in as a transplant to Iowa, I still am finding places that bring me joy, places that make me feel at home and safe spaces that I will revisit. The moment I entered, I was greeted by staff. It is a intimate space due to its entry size, “lunch counter” setting and the short line of patrons waiting for open seating. Very nostalgic for me.
The menu is full of classic breakfasts, eggs, hashbrowns and choice of meat. I ordered Country Fried Steak. It was delicious and the portion was ginormous. I was impressed with their giant pancakes, which will be my order for next time.
The staff was friendly and on top of their game, a well oiled machine. My coffee was always hot and always full. They made sure I wanted for nothing. Best service I’ve had since before covid changed the food industry.
Make sure on your way out, that you order a mug as a keepsake!

My sister brother in law, my wife and I we’re in town for a funeral. The breakfast we had at the hotel was extremely over priced for essentially a snack. This morning we decided to go to Morg’s, and we we’re very impressed. I have never seen let alone eaten roughly a 13 inch diameter pancake, the sausage patty was hand made with great flavor. Prices were less than I would have thought for the size of the meal(around $13.00.) All of the staff were off the chart amazing, they made the entire experience extremely enjoyable. I absolutely recommend stopping in for a meal, you will not be disappointed or leave hungry!

Morgs is always so good. The only complaint would be size, especially of the bathroom as it would especially be challenging for those with mobility aids. However the service is always amazing as is the food. Crispy hashbrowns, fluffy pancakes, and good bacon & sausage. We always go after 10am and never have to wait too long if at all.
