Updating my review. The only way I could do another review. Just started chemo again yesterday and was talking with the waitress letting her know. Was waiting for my bill and I gave her a tip not sure the price on the bill and she said it was already taken care of. I left there in happy tears today.

Had eggs Benedict. Was the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Waitress was awesome as well. Atmosphere is just wonderful. Posting this review before I am done eating it’s that good. Will definitely be going back.

I came in for breakfast and ordered the Grandpa skillet. The skillet was so delicious! Trina, the waitress was very friendly and kept coming back to see if I needed anything. There’s plenty seating for large crowds and free parking. Affordable prices and a clean environment. It felt very homey in there, deff coming back!

I have been a regular customer here for the last three years. I have been ordering pan fried fish for the last year, I don’t want deep fried or baked and I have been enjoying the fish. Today I was told that they do not pan fry their fish. I go to this restaurant 2-3 times per week, never again. Hector you just lost a regular.

Been here multiple times but never did a review. I’m used to this being a comfortable local place to enjoy good food but the past visit a couple weeks ago wasn’t as good. The food was still good but the service and local hospitality was not what I remembered. When we walked into the restaurant, they were not crazy busy but they were steady. We were the only ones at the front with a waitress and a host both in the immediate area. No good morning or welcome or even hello, I’ll be right with you. Silence. Eventually, we were greeted and taken to a table. The waiter was not very attentive. Had to ask a passing waitress for a couple things while we were wondering where our waiter was. When he did come by, he was cordial but not super friendly. The other thing that was a concern was that the waiter reached out our plates full of food instead of setting them down. There were 2 of us and the areas in front of us were not blocked. Please consider that not everyone has the strength in their hands to take a full plate of food from you. For some people it comes and goes, others may look able but could be having a flare up. Be considerate and set the plate down by your guest. It would be appreciated and lead to a larger tip. Food was good. Atmosphere was good.

Been here a couple of times this past month. Food is OK but price wise slightly high, considering the quality. Both times I’ve had bacon in my sandwiches, which has been way overdone. Beef barley soup was OK, but lacking in flavor. I do appreciate the choice of more than one soup. They close at 3:00 on Sunday according to Google, but in reality it’s more like 2:30. Arrived at 2:40 PM today and there was no coffee available. Waitress said Coffee was already “shut down”. The staff clearly wanted to leave so I left as well without ordering.

The food was very good. Took a little bit to get food, but it was well worth it. Haven’t been out for breakfast in a long time so a little surprised at prices but it’s every where so understandable. Never been here before but will definitely be back.

It’s a family restaurant.
But they haven’t raised their prices in well over a year.
The food was good and quick. The service was good and also quick.
Would I go here again? Yes.

The onion soup today was cold, and the chicken noodle soup my mom and son ordered was only lukewarm. Our meals — the burger, chicken Parmesan, and pretzel burger — were decent, but the fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil and were not good.

The mayonnaise we requested on the side was the worst part: it looked like it had been sitting out forever — yellow, lumpy blobs — and mine even had someone’s pickle top in it. When I told the waitress, all she said was, “Oh, I’m sorry to hear that.”

Overall, extremely disappointing. We won’t be returning.
