I have driven by Burger Dive on Bay Street many times and always been intrigued. I was finally able to try it out recently. We were able to get seats on the patio, and it was quite lovely out there. They have a decent drink selection available. We ordered the House Dry Rub Wings and the House Burger. The wings were spectacular! The dry rub has a Cajun flavor with a slight kick to it. There are sauce options that come on the side, and we tried the ranch and barbecue. The barbecue was on the sweeter side, and the ranch was very good. The House burger comes with American cheese, grilled onions, and pickles. The burger was seasoned deliciously, but it did fall apart a little bit.

We’ve eaten here a few times and have never had a bad meal. We got the wedge burger this time, perfectly balanced and delicious. The deviled eggs were good but heavy handed on the salt. My complaint is about the 8.5 nothing special onion rings that were $11. We eat out often, I realize prices need to go up because of costs but more than a dollar for what tastes like frozen onion rings isn’t an expense I think is worth it. Spiced mule was good. Server was attentive but food was really slow coming out of the kitchen which isn’t the norm here.

We stopped in because my hubby wanted to find a new burger place. Our visit was great! The burger was delicious. We ordered the Jalepeno Cheese curds best cheese curds we had in a long time. Friendly group of people at the bar. Great experience we will definitely be back!

The food is getting a perfect 5 stars, no question. The ONLY knock on Burger Dive can be the prices. We ordered some Hamms ($4 tall boys) and then split the Onion Burger and Reuben Burger. Both were amazing. The onion burger was a top eating experience of my life and my wife agreed. The Reuben Burger was just a step below, only because of how good the Onion Burger was. The corned beef was real, shredded corned beef – not deli slices or something of the like. The food was great. The only problem was price. Some of it is a sign of the times – but my wife and I going to a clean “dive” bar for a burger and one beer each came to $52 plus tip. Neither the menu nor the waitress pointed out that ordering fries with the burger and as an upcharge of $4 each, she just simply asked what we wanted for a side. The menu for sure could help with making this clear. That would be my only advice and warning to anyone going there for a burger.

The mushroom & swiss burger ($14) was good, but tasted like a standard bar/tavern/pub burger. Burgers don’t come with fries and half-orders are $4 to accompany them.

Size was good as it was two smash patties. Came reasonably quick.

Wednesday Burger Deal! They allowed me to sub a Yummy Chicken burger for a couple bucks more, Well Worth It, YUMMY! Not sure of the seasoning but enjoyed it. Great Halloween decorations made it fun!

I met colleges here for our burger club meeting. We each got something Different and an assortment of sides and appetizers. All in all, everything was above average. Portions were decent. Food came quick. The perogis, deviled eggs, and mushrooms were excellent, and the cheese curds were okay. The onion burger was 4/5. It was good, but needed something extra to push it to true excellence.

The food here is great! The breakfast is really amazing and I would guess the best bar breakfast in St. Paul. Try the biscuits and gravy. Some of the best chicken tenders and onion rings I’ve ever had! Also the country fried steak is delicious. What’s funny is its a burger spot so you know those are great too, everything here is a hit.

First time here. We had a house burger, onion burger, and a basket of fires that we shared. French fries basket was enough for two people. Everything was delicious! Prices were reasonable, and everything was cooked to perfection. I’m looking forward to coming back soon!

The food was good & came out quick, right away our server, a bleached out blonde with a lot of tattoos was very quick & rude & dismissive. Right away this made my table & i uncomfortable, she proceeded to check in like every other 5 minutes while still being rude & quick. Acting as if she didnt care for our table & just wanted us out. That continued to leave us with a very uncomfortable experience. I ask burgerdive to double check who they hire because it is unacceptable to have a server as hostile as her.
