Generous portions, and really nice taste !
Big thanks for these tacos de birria & quesabirria !! Nice amount of flavourful meat, cheese, tortillas also were amazing, really nice corn flavour !!!
I recommend for a nice authentic experience 🙂
Authentic Mexican menu. The taste at this restaurant is slightly milder and adjusted to the European customers compared to the taco truck style. I do miss the taco lengua on the menu and possibility to ask for extra coriander and lime.
As with the taco truck, vegetarian tacos and quesadillas are offered and they are scrumptious.
Friendly and fast service. Best to visit this eatery with friends to enjoy the drinks and the scenic view at Rheinauhafen.
The ambiance was warm and inviting,
It was very busy during dinner hours, so it’s better to book a table in advance.
The tacos I took were good. The chocolate mousse was weird, the mousse with chili note itself was fine, but on the top of it were chunks of nachos and I think they were additionally backed, so they were very hard and tasteless. So it was a very bad combination. Homemade lemonade was just water with a drizzle of lemon juice.
Overall experience is positive of course. It’s a great place to meet with friends or for a date too.
It’s delicious, without a doubt.
The sizes are generous and the food is well made and presented.
Sauces go from mild to hot and there are plenty of side dishes.
There are also vegetarian, fish, and meat options.
The atmosphere is open, lively, good music, and clean. The service is prompt and friendly.
I started with the nachos for the taste of back home, the US, but it just isn’t the same. Although the nachos were a great dish, and I would absolutely get again, cheese and chip texture is slightly different. No fault of the restaurant due to local sourcing and local tastes, but I had something else in mind.
All in all, it’s a wonderful place with delicious food, great service, a pleasant atmosphere, but not quite the same as the TexMex across the Atlantic.
With that being said, I will absolutely go back again.
The waitress was also super nice and accommodating! All in all a very good experience!
They also have great vegetarian and vegan options which is great.
The interior is cool and very colourful with good music playing. The staff are super friendly which was really nice.
They gave us a jug of tap water when we asked for it but they wouldn’t refill it – told us we had to buy a bottle of water. The water cost €5.70 which is an absolute disgrace.
Apart from the water, it’s good value for money and I would return!
