Old school feel with a new age twist! Cooking up your own pancake on your griddle in the middle of the table is ingenious! The charge for the toppings seems a bit on the high side. The bottle of batter you get is 8oz and big enough to get your tummy full! My husband and son swear the chicken fried steak was the best they ever had from any place. We definitely will be back! Delicious! Fun! Could be a little cleaner and they are doing what they can with the space they have. Parking is a pain in the butt, but what do you expect in the city??!!

Loved our experience at this place! From the great atmosphere to the diner-style coffee mugs, they’ve really nailed it. The griddle was at the perfect temperature. The creamsicle drink was extra tasty. I had the Slappy Hash and it was one of the tastiest vegetarian dishes I have ever eaten; I ended up putting some goat cheese in it and made it even more delicious. Highly recommend this place!

Me and my friends had a lot of fun here for brunch! They do a good job at appealing to all ages. Plenty of families there with kids but also a place you could come with your friends for pancakes and mimosas. Prices are reasonable and a lot of batter comes in each bottle. The vegan/gluten free pancakes were great and tasted just like “normal” pancakes. They also have plenty of non-pancake menu options and a full bar. Service was great. Definitely would recommend giving it a try!!

Ordered the classic eggs Benedict and the potatoes came out crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The Benedict itself was phenomenal. Gonna have to try the cook your pancakes yourself some other day. Definitely recommend.

super cool place, really fun experience for the kids too! bit of a wait to get in, mostly due to it just being a very popular place in a small space. we went on a saturday and waited about 30 minutes for a table. pancakes were really good and cooking then yourself is just too fun! we will definitely be back!

Great place for kids, we had some fun making designs with our pancakes. We also got the forest mushroom scramble and a bottle of pancake mix. The scramble was good, but the reason to come here is to enjoy making pancake art.

Was pretty blown away by the prices here. The pancake toppings are $2-$4 for a tiny amount of topping. Nutella was $4 which is more than just buying a whole jar. The side of bacon came with two cold, dry pieces. Last time, it was an entire plate. Our table was forgotten about and barely checked in on. Several other tables who came in after us had their food before we even ordered. They didn’t refill our coffee once we finally got it and I would have asked if anyone would have come by or made eye contact with me. Yes the kids love it because it’s fun, but $10-$12 for 8oz of watery pancake batter is pretty crazy.

We ordered the chorizo jalapeno omelette special and a side of potatoes. We were a little disappointed that the special already had potatoes so we ended up with way too many. It seems like an easy thing to comment on when we had first ordered as the potatoes were not listed. Otherwise this was a very clean place with friendly and fast staff. The food comes out rather quickly and obviously as fast as you can make a pancake, you can eat another. It was a really fun experience.

Crazy expensive. The gimmick is $10 for a bottle of batter that makes $2 worth of pancakes, with no sides. If you want to add 2 dry strips of bacon and one egg, that’s another $7. And service was really bad. They brought us someone else’s drinks first, then took the order of several tables around us that came in later. It seems like they got really busy and then couldn’t handle it. But at those prices, with that many customers, YOU KNOW they can afford to have the staff and resources. I went here once over a year ago, the portions on the sides were better, service was better. Now it’s a gimmicky Portland money grab coasting on a reputation from when they used to try.
