I love discovering hidden gem mom-and-pop restaurants like this one. The food here is indescribably delicious — so good we came back twice for dinner.
We started with the bruschetta and the beef carpaccio — both incredible. For the main course, we tried two types of lasagna: the house special (a little spicy, packed with flavor) and the classic version. Both were outstanding. We also had the spaghetti with meatballs and the Cannelloni alla Sorrentina — absolutely phenomenal. Honestly, you can’t go wrong no matter what you order.
And dessert? The homemade family-recipe Italian cheesecake made with ricotta cheese was next-level. It’s my favorite dessert in general, but this one was unlike any I’ve ever had — hands down the best ever.
To top it off, the owners are a wonderful, friendly couple who make you feel right at home. This place is a must-visit. There is usually a line but it’s worth the wait.

Our first sit down meal in Sorrento and it didn’t disappoint. Extremely friendly staff. Nice to sit and people watch on one of the tables outside. Delicious cannelloni, lasagne (my partner ordered a second serve while half way through his first) and fantastic tiramisu. Highly recommend this place.

Great little boutique restaurant! We visited there twice and would go back again. The staff is friendly and nice. The food and drinks are excellent and delicious!!! You can’t make a reservation in advance, we usually waited 15 minutes and it’s worth it.

We came here 6 times during our 6 day stay. This past week. No reservations. Had everything from the truffle gnocci and the ravioli, to the margheritta pizza and focaccia, to the tiramisu and chesecake. Oh and I cannot forget about the 7 layer traditional lasagna. Got the meatballs and they put a bib on me. Loved every second of it. Incredible food and incredible service. Line forms down the ally before open and the line of people waiting for a table is steady during dinner and lunch. Worth the wait. Make every effort to enjoy a meal here. Telling all my friends, so get there before they do.

We found Storico8 on our first day in Sorrento. This cozy authentic Italian restaurant was exactly what we were looking for! Tucked away from the busy main street, chef Anna made the best lasagna I’ve had in my life! We enjoyed the atmosphere, people watching, and food so much, we came back again… and dream to come back again & again!

My wife and I came here for dinner and were not disappointed! The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely amazing.
We started with the tomato mozzarella bruschetta – hands down the best we’ve ever had! I had the tagliatelle with meatballs, and my wife had the cannelloni – both dishes were outstanding.
While we were taking pictures, the owner(?) came over, placed a funny little bib on me, and joked that it’s tradition for meatball eaters – such a fun and personal touch!
For dessert, we had the pistachio cheesecake, and it was incredible.
Highly recommend this place – great food, friendly atmosphere, good beer, and reasonable prices.

Excellent! Great food, lovely staff and nice little place! Food was excellent, mainly the pasta, pizza was good but I prefer a sloppy pizza, this was quite crispy. My partner and I went back twice to this place!

We came to Storica8 for dinner, and it blew us away, but unfortunately, they ran out of pizza, which is what we were very excited to try so we decided to come back again the next day to try it. We got one of their infamous focaccia sandwhiches and pizza. This sounds dramatic, but it was the best sandwich and pizza we’ve ever had in our life. There is a reason why there is a line out their door! Truly worth the wait, the food was incredible, and the owner and staff were amazing. We will be dreaming of this meal till we come back!

Good restaurant. It’s a shame that when we went, the house sandwiches and lasagna weren’t available. So, we ordered the lasagna with traditional ragu and the rondeli, which were very good. The place is small. When we arrived, fortunately, there was a table available. The service was good.
