Yum yum yummmmmm. I love dumplings a lot and this was such a fun find! We went to see a movie and didn’t know where to go afterward and decided to give Dim Sum Factory a shot. I’m so glad we did! The food here was so good! The pan fried pork dumplings were some of the best I’ve had! The lotus leaf rice was something I have never tried and it was so good! The sticky rice was savory and sweet and just delicious. We got the rice cakes and they were pretty good! They were my boyfriend’s favorite dish! We also got the cucumber salad and that one was also tasty!

One of the best soup dumpling in town but no ginger serving for the dipping sauce, stir fry rice cake is yummy, stir fry shanghai tips is not well prepared before cooking (yellow leaves here). Service is good. This was our 2nd visit, so far it’s better than the 1st time.

Very good dimsum. I was craving lo mai gai and noodles. They have excellent food. The soup dumplings were very good as well. All the food was fresh. Service was excellent and food came out so fast. Will be back here again.

We had to try the pork soup dumplings and the crab and pork dumplings.
Super juicy and the wrapper they’ve used is pretty good too!
Also ordered the Singaporean rice noodle and their braised beef noodle soup.
Both came out good and the food came out fast
I would definitely go back for other offerings they have on their menu.

With very low expectations we went there for our dinner. The restaurant is spacious, good lighting and ample seating. We quickly placed order for chicken soup dumplings, shrimp sumai, shrimp fried rice and shrimp stir fry noodles. It arrived quickly and was so good that our 2 year old finished the entire 5 shrimp sumai. We called for 2 more rounds of the same. The food was prepared so well might look bland but trust me it was so flavourful and wholesome. The price is competitive. We were happy and full. Will come again if we are around the area. Recommended!

There are some good, some bad with this restaurant. The food was fairly ok. A bit bland and not seasoned much. But I like the robot that brings out the food and plays music for you. That ties in with the service. The waiter was polite, and the food came out fast. As soon as I finished eating, a gust of air pushed the most foul smell I ever smelled. I don’t know what it was but it didn’t go away.

Finally got to try Dum Sum Factory and it was a lovely experience! The food was very good, our favorite was the Sesame Chicken. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant and the wait staff was nice and accommodating. They even had a little robot delivering food to a table just before we left. I didn’t get a photo though.

Our group (10+ people) has a quarterly get together at different restaurants, this time we decided to go try Dim Sum Factory, since couple of our friends have already been here and said the food is good. While the food was good, the service was lacking…almost chaotic.

The restaurant is decorated beautifully. It has plenty of tables for different party sizes. It also has a private party room in the back for large parties 30-40 people maybe.

Our reservation was at 12PM on a Saturday, it was not that busy at all by the time we sat down. They take your orders via handheld tablet, and Food delivery is via Robot. There is sure sign of Chaos in the kitchen. While we might think there is no way orders would get messed up, we were very wrong. We received couple of items we did not ordered, as well as we received some how 6 orders of Pork dumplings vs just 4 Pork dumplings, 1 Crab Meat and 1 Chicken dumpling. When we checked the receipt at the end, looks like everything was correct, just the food we received was not. We decided not to mention about the food, since by the time we received our food the restaurant was pretty busy, and the food wasn’t bad. If it was wrong and bad, we might have said something.

Overall all the food were good. We order an assortment of items… couple of Shumai’s, Chicken skewer and Fried Pork Chop. But majority of our orders were Soup Dumplings (Spicy Pork Dumplings, steamed crab meat pork dumplings and steamed Chicken soup dumplings.)
In conclusion, If you not in Philadelphia Chinatown and would like to try Soup dumplings, this is a good place to try. But It is not as authentic compare to Dim Sum restaurants in Philly, because the menu is very limited. Example: Jade Harbor, Ocean Harbor, China Gourmet, where you would get a lot more items for a much better price.

This is not your typical Asian style restaurant. There are many dishes on the menu that I haven’t seen anywhere else. My favorite is the dumplings filled with soup. Everytime I go there, I try at least 1 new dish that I’ve never had before. Last time, I tried the Shanghai Shumai and loved it. Everything is delicious and I’ve never had anything I didn’t like. The staff is very friendly and they even have robots to help carry the food to your table! They have a desert called piggy buns that are dough balls filled with custard; so delicious!! I brought my parents here for the first time and they want to come back with their friends. The atmosphere is very calming. It’s a great place to unwind with gentle music, soft scenery, and delicious food after a stressful day. I love this place. I took a few pictures and will upload them for you.
