So we ended up getting a lot of stuff. I got the Fish and Chips which was amazing. I don’t generally like fish from a lot of places. And this was really good. We also got the sampler and but mini corn dogs were perfect. Lol, I felt really good seriously, and they even cater to our special needs without batting an eye. Service was great, food was better. Atmosphere was pretty good too. Sorry, we were so hungry. Forgot to take pictures before lol. But here are some of what we could not finish. Everything was so good.

We showed up on the Friday night before deer hunting season. They were absolutely packed. We still got a table within ten minutes and the service was amazing: fast amd friendly, not to mention the food was phenomenal. Very impressed and we’ll definitely be back!

We were in Minocqua with friends and it was the last night of our stay. Someone told us about Billy Bobs so we decided to go there for dinner. From the looks of the parking lot we didn’t know if we would find a table. The place was really busy but we got a table the waitress gave us our menus and I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were. My wife had a shrimp basket with their homemade chips and I had fish and chips. Both meals were delicious my wife gave me a couple of her chips which were great. The service was also great the waitress was really busy but made sure she checked on us two or three times. This is definitely one place we will go to for dinner again. I do have to warn anyone that goes there for a meal make sure you go with a empty stomach. The portions are very large and worth the prices. Chances are if we would have known about Billy Bobs earlier we would have eaten there more than once.

Was dying to come back for what I thought was the best prime rib. Got there at 515 cause they dont serve prime rib til 5 . Placed order for prime rib and was told they were out. Went there with 16 friends on wheelers drove over a hour for nothing. Big disappointment.

First visit – joined some friends that traveled 35 minutes as well. Nikki was our server, she was great – friendly, informative, and efficient. Everyone tried the Tuesday Margarita special – they must have been good as 3 out of 4 opted for a 2nd. The ladies had Salads – they were delicious and huge. The guys tried the Smoked brisket dinner plates – served with choice of potato (tried the sweet potato waffle fries – good), garlic toast, a dinner salad – all excellent. The huge serving of brisket had good flavor but was a bit “dried out”. Billy Bob’s looks to have a great following as the bar was full when we arrived at 5 and the tables were filling up shortly thereafter. Conveniently located on Hwy L, just 10 minutes West and North from Hwy 51 – it’s easy to find on your way heading to the Northwoods. Stop by the next time you are in the area and give them a try, I’d be interested to hear about your experience – our first visit was certainly enjoyable.

Bonus was the Diet Mountain Dew drink options, which is never an option in some other parts of the US when asked if you want a Coke and what kind of Coke.
