Vaticano Cucina (Vatican’s Kitchen) is much more than an Italian restaurant. In the spirit of the widely celebrated Vatican City, our restaurant is a place to be delighted by the restaurant’s trademark decore and artisanal fare, rooted in Italian tradition.

We had the lasagna and the mushroom pasta with chicken. Both were fantastic. The pasta tasted fresh made. We had the Tiramisu for dessert and it was so light and flavorful.
The hostess and our server were so friendly, interactive, and prompt, they were a true pleasure to meet. The atmosphere was very “Italian”, very family style but with a date night vibe for those wanting time with a loved one.
We will absolutely be returning. This place is our new Italian favorite! We can’t wait to come back and try more items on the menu.
I had the tomato bisque as recommended by my lovely server. The soup is creamy and tangy with the right amount of salt. This is a very good zuppa.
The next dish I chose to eat was Roman Style Carbonara inspired by the Gambino boss’s favorite meal. The chef was nice enough to accomodate my special request as the restys version had cream in it.
The carbonara’s pancetta smoky and meaty. The eggs sauce was perfect.
Olivia service lady friendly and inviting. A good experience.
We went here on a whim, never heard of it before, just off the street because it was next to our hotel and we had an amazing time! We felt comfortable immediately because every staff member was extremely kind and professional! Our waitress helped us with recommendations when we weren’t sure on what to try and was quick and knowledgeable and just overall a sweetheart! Then the food and drinks, soooooo delicious. Every thing we tried came out quick and hot and tasty. And I tried a couple of their cocktails which were unique and also delicious. I will be dreaming about the orange mojito for awhile. 10/10 recommend!
The food is always spot-on. We’ve tried a bunch of different dishes over time, and everything has been consistently delicious. You can tell there’s a lot of care and pride in what they serve.
The staff are always friendly, and the service is smooth and relaxed—never rushed, never overbearing. Whether we’re here with family or just winding down after a long day, it always feels like the perfect place to be.
Good: seating and ambiance
Bad: server came to our table shouting for attention when we were mid sentence in conversation.
Food came out in less than 10 mins! No way you can cook a lasagne, ravioli, and another pasta dish that quickly. My ravioli came out cold and dry, likely microwaved and sauce pre-made. The restaurant was 50% full certainly not empty.
Since my host picked the restaurant and had been multiple times before, it seemed like a good choice. Would not come back simply because the food cant be freshly made at that speed.
Service was really great and attentive initially, then there was a very long delay getting our bill. Too bad!! It started very good!
The food was great, the pasta was very flavorful and rich. We had butternut squash ravioli and an Italian sausage bucatini. Both were very good. Presentation was beautiful and there was nothing left on the plate! A sure sign of great food!
Tiramisu was mediocre, but thankful it was made in restaurant, which was the win here. I was hoping for a bit more flavor on the dessert.
Wine selection was good and the red we had paired nicely with the pasta.
I would come again! I highly recommend for anyone who wants to support local, get authentic Italian and get out of chain restaurants. Give it a try, I’m sure you’ll be pleased as I was!
