I was very underwhelmed with the amount of meat on their hoagies. There should easily be 3X the amount for a Jersey Sub. Jimmy John’s has more. Sad looking Italian. The Roast beef was a little better but still has 1/2 the meat. $34 for 2 small Hoagies. I can’t recommend this place at all.

I have over a million views of places where I’ve eaten and reviewed. Now MeatheadZ in Lawrence Nj had the top of my list for best cheesesteak but sadly this cheesesteak at Russo’s was out of bounds delicious and took my top of the charts! I had no idea this place was that good or even existed! I ordered the large cheesesteak and yes, it’s LARGE. The regular would be enough. CASH ONLY but they have an ATM. Surcharge is under $2 and I think that’s fair for a beach town charge. Their menu is vast so it’ll be fun to eat through their menu. Highly recommend !!!

The quality has definitely gone down here! Ordered two chicken cheese steaks ,both rolls were a soggy greasy mess. Potato salad had a heavy vinegar taste and was gross. Fries were bland and mushy. The food was terrible and we threw most of it away!

This is actually 4.5 stars. They make a very good sub sandwich with quality, fresh ingredients. I can’t give them full marks however, because for me everything didn’t come together and combine to be more than the sum of its parts. Don’t get me wrong: I’ll eat these sammies any chance I get. Just that I’ve had even better subs that had all their elements in perfect harmony. Maybe I shoulda just let this one marinate for a few hours. Guess I’ll just have to try a few more….

Food portions and quantity are good. Typically we have a good experience here, but that was not the case today – I phoned in an order, and the person taking our order did not give us a total price for the order and underestimated the price of a 22″ pizza steak by $5, which caused me to need to use their ATM, since they are cash only. In addition, my last initial was written down incorrectly (which led to confusion), and the food took 15 minutes longer to be ready than I was told on the phone. I will not be ordering from them again until they improve some of these processes/communication.

Well i will be honest and I don’t want anyone getting upset … I am a foodie with over 317k views on my content and have eaten all over from del ray beach to Philly and New York City and every where else in between … NOW ALSO KEEP IN MIND I have BEEN IN JERSEY FOR OVER 37 years ….. That cheesesteak was hands down one of the best sandwiches I have ever had …. I asked for sauce there was a perfect amount of tomato sauce and the roll was like warm out of the oven… I mean like stupidly fresh !!!! To anyone who is in wildwood crest west wildwood north wildwood and wildwood …. This place is a winner … If there’s one better I’d say maybe tomorrow maybe even next week ….. BUT NOT TAAAAHHHHH DAY!!!!! 7 stars joint !!!!!!
