Second time here and really love the energy and the food. Brian was a really attentive server and made great recommendations, including the lychee martini, which we loved. Recommend the oxtail empanadas and the baby pernil. Really, you can’t go wrong with whatever you get though.

Casual Habana Café never disappoints! My husband loved the fried shredded pork, I had the beef short ribs for the second time (so good I had to repeat), and my friend’s baby pernil was phenomenal—i took one bite and know I know I’ll be ordering that next time! Tostones we’re fried to perfection. A juicy strong pitcher of sangria topped it all off. Can’t wait to return and repeat!

The Hemingway Especial cocktail was well balanced and worth ordering. The croquettes and dátiles rellenos were both standout dishes and easy recommendations.

I don’t know if there was a recent change in chef or management, but I’ve noticed a serious decline in food taste. We ordered our usual favorite dishes for dinner and each one was worse than the one before. Grilled chicken had a long black hair on it!!!! The only good thing was the empanadas. Such a shame because this was one of our restaurants we always gave business to, but I will no longer be returning. Please look into why this sudden change!
