I called in my order of a hard shell ground beef taco, a beef enchilada, Mexican rice, and refried beans for take-out. Ten minutes later I was walking back to my car with my to-go order. Everything thing was hot, fresh and delicious! The hostess that handled my order was very organized, polite, and expedient! Excellent job from the back of the house (BOH) ro the front of the house (FOH)!! I will definitely return very soon!

We all know there are MANY similar restaurants in Evans, with almost identical menus, but I still think it’s important point a few things out about Poblanos. The restaurant is always clean, the staff is always kind and the good is consistently good. We haven’t been disappointed yet after a meal here!

Plenty of well lit parking outside. Not much of a wait on a THURSDAY evening at 6:30, impressive…Nice, good sized margaritas for $6.00… good food, not too noisy. Wait staff was fast and efficient. It was a nice meal. Well worth it. The complimentary chips and salsa were quite fresh- chips were still hot… The salsa was medium spicy. In interesting, pourable carafes. They gave us small bowls for our own dipping…

Insane amount of cheese in my peppers. It was so good but they do not play with the cheese, beware . It was like too much. You can’t really see it in the pic but trust me. 4 stars because of that and because the menu’s pricing feels really random. Some dishes are super expensive unreasonably and others are normal and about what you’d expect to pay. Good experience though overall.

If you’re looking for authentic Hispanic food, this is definitely one of the best places in the CSRA!
Karina was wonderful and really friendly!
Everything was delicious and authentic. I had the carnitas street tacos and a burrito. The tacos are double wrapped so they don’t fall apart. They fill them up!
I’ll be making this a new weekly visit!

If you’re looking for a vibrant spot in the heart of Evans with a laid-back vibe, Funeral Mexican Restaurant delivers a memorable experience. The atmosphere is lively and spacious, featuring a large main dining area, a good-sized bar with plenty of TVs and seating, and a welcoming patio perfect for enjoying fresh air while you dine. Parking is easy, which is a big plus in this busy area.
The food truly stands out. Everything tasted fresh, and the dishes had a unique initial flavor profile that set them apart from typical fare. The chips were hot, crisp, and absolutely fantastic—a great start to the meal.
Whether you’re catching a game, meeting friends, or just craving flavorful Mexican cuisine, this spot is worth checking out.

AMAZING FOOD! Great service. The food is great and the street tacos are packed full of meat! They don’t skimp at all! Chorizo Cheese dip is absolutely great also! If you’re in the area stop by. It’s worth the stop and I will be back.

Stopped here with family while visiting from Ohio. Overall standard Mexican restaurant, nothing mind-blowing.
Food and margaritas were good.

Seat in there for 30 minutes never got anyone to do anything. Just got up and left.
At least 10-15 employees walked by trying not to look at me. They were not busy at all no one at the front desk. I waited 10 minutes at the front desk watching them walk by. Then I set at the booth up front hoping they would see me and never paid any attention. Just watched the workers stock salsa and play on there phones. Sad hope the owners see this because two other people were waiting and left also.
Need to fire the people and start over
