If you go at dinner time almost every day of the week it is going to be crowded all the way until about 3:00 p.m..
Sometimes they will get behind at making pizzas yet they usually get caught up in a short while.
Very family friendly race friendly etc it is located on a main highway which is highway 74 but it is called Dixon boulevard because it is in Shelby.

My 12 year old granddaughter wanted pizza. We were out of town & decided to ride the extra mile to Pizza Inn. She wanted an individual cheese pizza. She ordered & I waited to pay for it. When the pizza was ready, he just handed her the pizza & said it was on him. I’m sorry I didn’t get the man’s name that served her but when we are back in town, we will try to go back & bring the family. My granddaughter said it was a great pizza. She had eaten all of it before we got back to our hotel.

We come here a lot with the kids and the price is $8 per person for the buffet through the week. They have specials for carry out, which is their biggest draw, though. I got 2 medium pizzas for $13.98 and a large dessert pizza for $10.98. I thought my kids were going to eat it all in the car before we got home. There are a few other Pizza Inn locations near us, but they do charge more. This one is our favorite, though. ❤️

Me and my partner recently went to this place for his birthday. When we first arrived, I don’t think the pizza was fresh, but later they brought out new ones that tasted more fresher. I tried a variety of pizzas:
1. Cheese pizza with red sauce: the sauce is a little on the sweet side for me, but a solid slice. 4/5
2. Cheese pizza without sauce: Bland and kinda dry but okay 3/5
3. Cheeseburger pizza: My favorite, was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. Has a strong mustard and pickle flavor, which I enjoyed, this one is really good. 5/5
4. Taco Pizza: A close runner up for my favorite, was also surprised by how much I enjoyed this one. The fresh shredded lettuce on top was nice and crunchy and good.
5. Dessert pizzas: all were tasty.
I was a little disappointed that I could not start with a salad, as all the lettuce looked wilted and not very appetizing. The spaghetti and meatballs also did not look fresh so I did not want to try them. The macaroni and cheese also tasted old and quite dry. My partner tried the garlic bread and pepperoni rolls, both of which were so old and dry and hard that they were inedible unfortunately.
SO overall, I have mixed feelings about the food and selection, but some it was really good, like the cheeseburger and taco pizza. I would be willing to order a whole one of these two varieties because they were so good. The waitress was nice and also the waitress was attentive. At $8 for an adult, I feel like it’s a decent value overall for what you get, and despite a few disappointments, I would still be willing to go back.

UPDATE: came back today which is Saturday and unfortunately calling was not working but we were taken care of by Savannah and she did an A++ also. And is the fourth the first time? It was just as delicious the second time. I highly recommend this restaurant. waiter, Colin, was absolutely perfect as a waiter. He kept the glasses full and got plates out of the way and was just there asking us we need anything. He want this any kind of pizza you would like to have made. You know just A1 service. If I had to give him a grade I would give Colin an A++. The food was good and the salad bar was good. I did not get to see the lasagna spaghetti and such till it was too late and I was stuffed. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch here. It cost about $15 a piece for our lunch along with tea.

The lettuce was brown!! The pizza had been sitting so long it started curling up on the crust edges. They asked us if we wanted anything made. We asked for 2 pizzas.. they NEVER came out. After I asked.. by walking up front.. was told “oh we didn’t know” .. so.. it came out 5 minutes before we left . Didn’t get 1 fresh piece of pizza WILL NOT GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION

Amazing food and great quality! We got the family feast for $25. You get two medium pizzas with up to two toppings, a desert pizza and an appetizer all for $25. No other pizza place offer such a deal! And the food is fresh and great! Friendly staff!

Had lunch on 10/13 with my Mom. I can’t remember our servers name, she was a young black girl, and she did an excellent job!! She should definitely be considered for a promotion when one comes up. The food was excellent, and the service was even better!!
