Humble Boy
Red snapper is amazing and the french fries are good, it is pricey though. The waiters and waitresses and kind. There is a man named Jim Park that comes on Fridays and plays the guitar. The old owner was named louie but he passed away and his wife co owns the new restaurant, so there are a lot of old workers and customers, and everyone is kind.
Honestly it’s a great restaurant

Great food and great staff. Perfect vibe for anyone. Up front, white table cloth dining with live music on the weekends. In the back, game day/football vibes. My husband and I have been twice and very impressed with food quality both times. Shrimp and great and steaks are off the chart! Highly recommend.

We had a party of 6. We ordered 3 different dishes: fried shrimp, bacon wrapped scallops served on a bed of grits (evening special), and pork tenderloin medallions with a side of wild rice. Appetizer was Cajun fried pickles. All were excellent. Staff were attentive and friendly. The owner and chef came by our table to check on satisfaction. A memorable dining experience. If you are looking for “fast food”, this is not the place for you. However, on weekends, they have opened a rear bar area, called the Red Door, which will serve bar type foods and drinks.

The steak I had was a good cut of meat but wasn’t seasoned at all. I never use steak sauce of any kind when I’m eating a good fillet but this one could really have used it. The mashed potatoes that were recommended by our server, came to the table lukewarm at best. My wife ordered French onion soup and a loaded baked potato. The French onion soup was average and her baked potato was not hot. It had a glob of unmelted butter in the center.

First of all the food was good. We had fried chicken, liver and onions, chicken livers and hamburger steak. Service was good at first, but we had to ask for refills and it was hard to get our waitress. She was very nice. (We still tipped $20) We weren’t aware that refills on soft drinks were $2 so three of our friends got Pepsi and one refill ($12) Also we didn’t know that we would be charged $3.50 for using our credit card. (I had cash, but wasn’t informed about the extra charge.) The fried chicken was good, but with tax over $15. The hamburger steak was good, but with tax over $15. The liver and onions was good, but not great. The chicken livers were fair. We like this place, but the food is overpriced compared to other restaurants with equal quality. Go there for the atmosphere which is nice.

This is possibly the nicest restaurant in our area. This is a dining experience plan on being there a minimum of an hour/hour and a half, not a place to grab a quick bite. The ribeye was a tender good cut of meat. The smoked brisket was heavenly and what I will get going forward. The music was too loud and had more of a party feel to it which seemed out of place for type of dining experience offered.

What a disappointment!!!
First, we reserve a table for 12 and when we get there, we can’t even sit all together! Then after asking if we can put our tables together we are giving a nonsense excuse as to why that can’t happen. Next, one person is told that they don’t offer side salad while another person is told they can substitute a side salad for another side. The asparagus was so over grown that you couldn’t even enjoy it for it being so tuff. Not to mention some steaks were over cooked but after all the accusations , our meal was ruined!! Last but not least, we are accused of bringing in a miniature liquor bottle and it was a lime salt bottle. Not once were we asked if anyone had a miniature liquor bottle!!! (JUST ACCUSED) We paid $200+ for each couple and to have the audacity to accuse someone of such, then come to find out that they were wrong, they never even tried to make things right!! Never again will we darken those doors!!!

Bread was amazing! Steak was cooked perfectly. It was a bit thin, but the flavor was good. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Dessert was ok, but not great. Will definitely go again
