So good. We had the chicken tacos and the large chicken burrito and both were packed with flavour.
The sauces were incredible, everything tasted fresh and well seasoned, and the portions were really generous. The patio is a great spot to sit and eat and the restaurant itself looks awesome, super colourful and genuinely authentic.
Also the tres leches cake was the best I’ve ever had.

Clean bathrooms, friendly staff and delicious tacos! We also enjoyed the burrito and pork tamale. Our kids went crazy over the cooler filled with popsicles. 10/10 recommend

This was one of the best tacos I’ve had! Many asada tacos are made with tough beef, well seasoned but tough, this taco was packed with beautifully seasoned tender steak. The al pastor and del mar taco was great as well.
Try the chicken mole, AMAZING!! I wish I lived closer, so I could enjoy this place more often. I drove nearly an hour to get here, and felt it was worth it.
I loved the outdoor dining. Definitely give it a try!

After eating here for the first time, I regret all the times before that I got Mexican food from next door. The food is incredibly flavorful, making my taste buds realize they have been deprived. I enjoyed the sweet & spicy enchiladas. Staff is kind & efficient. Plus, the women’s bathroom had a surprisingly cute vibe & was very clean. The only need for improvement I’d say is the comfort of the dining seats… Still, well worth the visit.

When I showed up I shared this was my first time and the girl greeted me and thanked me for visiting them.
She has a bright smile and eager to serve. I ordered two tacos, one carne asada and one pollo asada with an aqua Fresca. I mixed piñeapple and horchata.
Everything was amazing! From service, to restaurant cleanliness, to food and the beverage.
I’ll definitely have to come back.
The food tasted fresh and flavorful! The tortilla had the perfect mix of soft and crunch. First time in a long time I ate a taco and I felt I could taste all the flavors of everything on it.
This place is 10/10.
To top it off even the bathroom is clean which gives me confidence the kitchen is really clean!
I also like that there is plenty of seating inside and even outside!

We enjoyed Real Taqueria. I thought the Barbaco taco was the best. The flavor of the meat was incredible. Also, there’s very few taco places that also sell tamales. For a fast casual restaurant the atmosphere was really cool. The employee who took our order was incredibly nice. The pineapple aguas frescas tasted really fresh and delicious.

Don’t skip on: The queso!
Tried out Real Taqueria this week and it was wonderful! I loved the new patio and excited to come back when it’s warmer to sit in the patio with my pup! I ordered two tacos – Al pastor and lengua along with the horchata. Tacos were delicious and so was the horchata! I also got the queso and I see why it’s the best in state! The nachos and nopal salad were delicious as well. Staff was really nice and welcoming, and and the restaurant was clean.
Can’t wait to go back!

We stopped by Real Taqueria on a Friday right in the middle of the lunch rush—and let’s just say, word has definitely gotten around. A steady line, a packed dining room, and a buzzing drive-thru told us we were in for something good. Once we got to the counter, we were greeted warmly and jumped right into ordering.
I went for the Grande Nachos Del Mar with whitefish—absolutely loaded with all the fixings. My other half grabbed two classic tacos: one shrimp, one pollo asado. Both were generously stuffed—no skimping on the shrimp here. Everything tasted fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor, flavor, flavor. We also had the pineapple and the melon agua frescas, which hit the spot.
The space itself has this fun, homey fiesta vibe, with plenty of seating both inside and out. The patio is dog-friendly, and they even have a little cheese quesadilla treat just for pups. It was too chilly to bring Kirby along this time, but when the staff heard us talking about him, they offered our puppy treat to-go—hot and ready. Once we got home, Kirby instantly caught a whiff of something special. Big tail wags and a happy pup.
Heads-up: it’s a popular spot, so be ready to wait in line a bit during peak times. Once you order, they give you a number and bring your food out to your table. We saw some incredible-looking tamales being delivered to another table, so that’s going on the list for next time.

Real Taqueria is definitely one of our favorites! The nachos are outstanding, especially when topped with al pastor. The salmon tacos are incredible as well; they are super fresh and bursting with flavor. We recently tried the egg and cactus burrito, and it was another hit! You can truly tell that they prioritize quality and flavor in everything they serve. If you’re in the Holladay area, do yourself a favor and stop by. The food is amazing and always satisfies!

NEVER disappoints…I have converted so many friends to the Real Taqueria adventure. Everyone should try a bite of heaven at least once in their life. Employees were very quick yet the food was carefully crafted. My G-ma and I BEASTED the meal, as seen in the photo attached!
