We placed our order at the front kiosk and after payment, the machine said to have a seat with our number and someone would bring our food out. When our food was done, we heard someone yelling our number up the front counter. It’s not what the kiosk said would happen and it’s also not what the number says that we placed on our table. When we went to go get our food, our frappes were not ready. They had “”forgotten”” to make them. This made our food cold. ⭐

I stopped by McDonald’s today and was really impressed. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, and my order came out fast and hot—just how it should be. Fries were perfectly golden, and my burger was fresh and actually looked like the picture (a rare win in fast food).
The drive-thru moved quick, and the cashier was polite and upbeat, which made the whole stop that much better. Overall, it was one of those rare times where McDonald’s nailed everything from service to quality. Definitely coming back again soon.

This location is typically a little busy when we come through, but that is to be expected. We usually order on the McDonald’s app to take advantage of the online deals, and then pick up our order in the drive-thru. We have gone a couple times, usually after 8 pm, and have not had any issues. The wait is a few minutes, and the staff are hit or miss in terms of kindness, but the food is consistent and it is exactly what we expect and pay for.

If you pay with cash, better make sure you get correct change back. They are so used to customers using cards, that cash money scares them. Manager was supposed to call me back after “counting the drawer” for my couple of bucks. Yes, it adds up if they do it several times and I knew I wouldn’t get a call back. For a group of 21, Everything was good except one order they didn’t get right. I told the cashier the order was wrong. They said everything is in the bag. I told them we did not get one burger ordered and again they said everything was in. I raised my voice at the cashier and it upset her. However, I did apologize to her.

The young man at the counter, a true gentleman and a scholar, greeted us with a smile so bright, I almost needed sunglasses. He took our order with such politeness and promptness; it was like he was running for mayor of Flavor Town. I told him he was doing a Mc-nificent job, and he actually laughed! A true patriot.
Now, let’s talk about the main event: the grub. I ordered a Big Mac, and let me tell you, it was a tower of power! It really meats my expectations. My wife got the Filet-O-Fish, and she said it was o-fish-ally delicious. The fries? Hotter than a fresh dad joke on a summer afternoon and salted to perfection. I’m not fryin’ when I say they were the best in the west… of North Carolina.

Other than this disgusting burger presentation, I was able to eat the luke warm fries. Luckily, my expectations are very low for fast food in general. Marked it up as a loss for this impulsive decision.
