I have never had a bad meal here. I live an hour and a half away, and every time I am in town.We stop and pick up to take home or we eat lunch here. I’m in love with the Debris Po’Boy. The wings are amazing too can’t miss.
The place is always clean. We are always greeted cordially. The service is fast. The food amazing.I can see why they win award

I could tell the dude behind the counter is really passionate about his products. He was great at decribing all the items on the menu and giving reccomendations. And the sammich & fried pickles were fantastic.

Food was delicious and came out very quickly after we ordered. The man at the register was very friendly and nice. Atmosphere inside is super cute and I imagine the patio is great in warmer seasons. My only complaint is the bathroom, which was pretty gross. It did not appear to have been cleaned in quite a while.

Po’ Boys & Pickles was overall decent. I had the Angry pig. The pork was flavorful, as was the cheese. My critique would be that the bread was overtoasted and It caused the sandwich to taste bitter. The best part of my meal was the 6 dollar fried pickles. The bathroom and dining room were also dirty. I paid 26 dollars for a fountain drink, sandwich, and fried pickles, and I did not feel that I got a good bang for my buck.

I got the chicken cutlet sandwich. It was so dry and basically a tiny chicken finger in the sandwich. I used to get this years ago and it was always amazing. But today it was sad really. I dont mind spending 20 bucks on a sandwich but this was just embarrassing for them. For what Portland has to offer I feel like this place will go out of biz soon. Sorry, you used to be amazing!

While it seems like many businesses no longer value quality and respect for the customer, Po Boys remains a shining example of a restaurant where the customer truly matters. The owner clearly cares about both his business and his product and is always very kind. It’s always a good experience, which is what makes this restaurant a go to local spot. If you want a unique, tasty meal at a good price with great service, look no further.

This place is phenomenal. I’m not exactly a Portland local but go to Portland every day due to college.

Everytime I passed them I said to my self “I should check them out” and I finally did and it was worth it!

I had there angry pig sandwich and voodoo wings and both of them were phenomenal
The sandwich was flavorful, filled with Cajun taste and the tenderness and umami flavor of the meat helped pull everything together

The voodoo wings were spicy but flavorful due to it mix of secret ingredients and Thai chili

This place is going to be a place I keep returning to!

Would recommend if your a local(if you haven’t been here) and if your a traveler.

This place was delicious. I had the blackened fish sandwich and it was so good. The buns are very fresh, and made the sandwich taste so good. I will definitely be back to try more and recommend you do as well. A local gem for sure.

I was raised in South Louisiana and lived in New Orleans for more than a decade before I moved to Maine, and I had given up any hope of eating a decent poboy in New England. I actually waited a long time to eat here because I was so sure it would not cut it.

I am so glad I was wrong. This place is legit. They actually get the bread right, which I thought was impossible. The roast beef poboy I had was dressed perfectly. Tomatoes, lettuce, mayo, and pickles. Nothing weird, just what I wanted. And they have Crystal hot sauce instead of Tabasco. My wife’s Peacemaker was also well-done. The sweet potato fries were great, and the red beans with andouille were made the right way.

Overall, is this place Parkway or Domilises? No. But it was a taste of home. They really seem to have worked hard on getting the little things right. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.
