I cannot state enough how perfect a restaurant Acropolis is. This cozy, family-owned, local restaurant has been serving my family for decades and it is our go-to when we want a comfort meal. Acropolis is the place you go when you want food that tastes like a memory (picture that scene in ratatouille). We don’t just go for the food, but for the vibes, friendly service, quality taste, and reliability. I have never had a bad meal here. The food is piping hot and generously portioned. The baked spaghetti with meatballs is my absolute favorite. The cheese pull is to die for!! The salads are fresh, crisp, and dressed to perfection on a chilled plate. And the meals come with fresh garlic bread that is perfect for cleaning your plate of all the saucy goodness. When you eat here, you actually feel like family. One of my Top 5 Local Eats!

Zero stars, threw my sandwich in the trash. The chicken on the chicken parm grinder is processed and the breading on that chicken was stretchy. Disgusting food quality. Didn’t even have cheese on it. $16 for white bread and cheap fake meat.

Got takeout.
Best pastrami sandwich I have had in a long time. Fresh baked bread. Greek salad was really good and when they took our call-Olin order they advised the salad did not have lettuce/romaine but could be added at no charge. So good. Can’t wait to go back.

Putting this on the menu and labeling it “lasagna” is an insult to Italian quisine. I’ve never been more disappointed by a dish in my life

It seems like they cut up lasagna noodles and mixed it with unseasoned tomato sauce, slipped all that into a pan, layered it with cheese, and called it “lasagna.”

A truly baffling experience

We often get our food to go. The quality tends to suffer for us under that scenario. This last order, my greek salad was pretty cold and the tomatoes and cucumbers were not crisp, probably having been refrigerated for a few days. When we eat at the restaurant, the food has been pretty good. We only live 5 minutes away.

We have been a patron of Acropolis for years. Most every time the food, service and staff have been excellent.

This evening my wife and I each ordered a meatball grinder. We have done do in the past.

It was the worst grinder we have had from Acropolis: no flavor whatsoever, meatball slices were do thin it was hard to find them. It lacked taste, spice snd was terrible. $18.00 per grinder and hardly worth a fraction of that, very disappointed,

★★★★ Good Pizza, But I Ordered the Wrong One

Acropolis Pizza in Kirkland has a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The service was fast, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. Unfortunately, I ended up choosing the wrong pizza for my taste. It wasn’t bad at all, just not what I was expecting. I probably should have gone with one of their more popular options.

That said, the crust was perfectly baked, and the toppings were fresh, so I’ll definitely be back to try a different pizza next time. If you’re in the area, it’s worth a visit—just make sure to pick the right pizza for your taste!

This restaurant is reminiscent of an old school NY/NJ diner with booth seating and 1970-1980’s contemporary music playing in the background. The food is good old fashion comfort food with dishes loaded with sauce and melted mozzarella cheese. The pizza isn’t NYC style, but tastes more like a Chicago deep dish pizza with the sauce and pepperoni underneath the cheese laying on a buttery crust, but without the long bake time.
