Took my family for an authentic Honduran food place. This met our expectations. Having lived in Honduras ourselves we feel pretty good judges to authentic Central American food. This place had a solid refried plantains (a staple of Central American food) amazing flour tortillas for Baleadas (authentic Honduran staple) and good beer options.
Overall the service was simple and consistent, food came out quick and the decor is cute/ modern.
Having eaten in other Honduran restaurant in the Houston area this place is MUCH more affordable roughly $30 cheaper than a nearby competitor.
You simply got to try it !!

The food here has always been delicious and I’ve been coming for years because I love the traditional Honduran dishes. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was extremely disappointing due to the service.
From the moment we arrived, things were already frustrating. Instead of being properly greeted, we had to wait over 30 minutes just to get seated. Once we finally sat down, the service only got worse.
Our order was taken incorrectly, our server barely checked on the table, and plates were simply dropped off without anyone asking if everything was okay. We constantly had to stop other servers and busboys just passing by just to ask for simple things.
My eggs were cooked over-hard instead of how I asked, so I had to send them back. I also never received a single water refill the entire time.
To make things worse, the portions have gotten noticeably smaller while the prices have gone up. I ordered the plantain breakfast and received barely half of what used to be a full plantain.
the tip was automatically included. I have no problem with automatic gratuity, but that shouldn’t mean the table gets ignored just because the tip is already guaranteed.
Overall, I’m very disappointed. I love Honduran food and have supported this place for years, but experiences like this make it hard to want to come back when there are other places that value their customers.

It take some time for food to come out, but it’s understandable it’s a very busy location. I would recommend to order an appetizer if you’re really hungry so that can come out first while you wait for food. The food is sooo good and flavorful, this is by far one of the best Honduran restaurants! I wish I wasn’t so far I would come here at least 1-2x a week

Took a bit to get our food but was well worth it when biting into it! The plantain with beans and cream was amazing! Pastelito was good which is why there’s bit of the 2 that were served. The special that day of coconut chicken mixed with the rice was very delicious when combined. The rice was best I’ve had overall. Servers are extremely nice. Food was very good, will return soon!

This is one of the places that cooks very similar to my family’s cooking. Not all Honduran cook the same. If you want to taste a lil bit of our culture this is a great place. There may be a wait, but its always worth it for fresh, authentic, and delicious meal. My kids enjoy eating here too

Reviewing other recent posts and there seems to be a lack of quality or care now from this restaurant. The Baleadas barely had anything inside. I ordered a simple one with beans, cheese and sour cream. I pretty much got tortilla with a thin scrape of beans and sour cream. 95% was just tortilla. It is sad to see such a great place lose its heart for the food. As of now we will find a different Honduran restaurant to spend our money. Look at recent reviews not old reviews. This place has changed. It was great in the past but not anymore.

The wait was a bit long but was worth it ,once the food was served. Everything was delicious and cooked well. The waiter was patient and helpful with I understand some of the items.
