I used to visit Sam’s over 15 years ago and remembered it being really good, so my wife and I decided to stop by today. I told her how much I used to like their burgers, but sadly, things have changed.
We ordered two Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers and waited a few minutes at the window. When the food was ready, the young lady at the window was on her phone and took her time finishing up whatever she was doing before handing over our order.
The best part of the burger was the bacon —it tasted like it the thick cut bacon from Sam’s Club or Costco, which I actually like. The rest, though, was a letdown. The bun tasted cheap and the patty looked and tasted like one of those small bulk burgers you buy by the box. To top it off, they charge a little over $5 each burger. 1/10 don’t recommend.

We had a Great experience here a couple weeks ago! My husband got their double and said it was very Juicy and full of flavor! I and my daughter got their chicken fingers and her nuggets, very Juicy as well and actually now I prefer their breading/fry over other chicken places lol . Legit , didn’t expect them to be that good haha . Also we all three got dessert after and it was real homemade ice cream, soo cold haha my daughter liked her oreo milk shake, husband got the vanilla sundae and me banana split absolutely delicious and done with fresh bananas! The employees were also friendly! Definitely putting them in the list to go to again!

I think this was possibly the best hamburger I’ve ever had! Almost didn’t stop here, but it was worth it. When you see Alabama Power trucks in the back, you turn around in the Dollar General parking lot and go for it. Please check in on tomorrow though as it was better than a Five Guys burger! ❤️❤️ The lettuce was green, tomatoes perfect, pickles excellent and ample, and bacon crisp and cooked. It was odd as I sat in my car, eating this burger that there was a Whataburger commercial, and I thought what a burger, this is a super burger!

I just found PLASTIC in my burger. So glad I knew the consistency seemed weird and didn’t swallow it but I can’t imagine all the microplastics I just ingested. Chili cheese fries are super mid too. Second and last time I’m eating here.

Great little restaurant/ fast food place. You do have a drive through here but you’re food is actually made from scratch. Great “old fashioned “ feel which I love! Very friendly staff consist of young people.
Food was very delicious! Those chicken strips were so juicy and flavorful! Burgers where very tasty! Smothered hamburger steak was good as well. Will definitely return to this place in the future!

The shrimp po’boy was amazing. I love a good po’boy and this absolutely hit the spot. Overflowing with shrimp is an understatement. The pickles in the sandwich were even amazing.
My husband loved his milkshake too – he said it was one of the best he’s ever had.
We’d definitely stop here again if we were passing through. Highly recommend!

I’ve read many positive reviews about Sam’s Super Burger and I do love a good burger so I was looking forward to giving them a try. My wife were out and about looking at properties and happened to be driving towards Sam’s when we decided to get a bite to eat.
We arrived later in the afternoon and the drive through was busy but only three tables had folks sitting at them. My wife and I ordered at the counter and our food arrived in a timely fashion without issue.
While we waited for our food I read a few of the reviews on Sam’s Google site and while they still maintained a good rating I noted that a couple of the reviews claimed that Sam’s was their go to burger place but that the quality of the food had slipped. Perhaps this explains why such a well recommended spot delivered such mediocre food. The burger patty tasted low quality and was over cooked. It wasn’t burned but they cooked all of the flavor out of the patty. In addition, the bacon and the fries were overcooked.
Overall, Sam’s Super Burger didn’t kill me or give me the runs but I don’t ever see a reason to return.

Stopped in to try the 1-lb Super Burger. Employees were very friendly and the restaurant was nice and clean. The burger came out so fresh and hot I actually had to let it cool down before I could eat it. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a very good burger!

This was our first time, my husband said the burger was absolutely delicious and very Juicy!!! I had the chicken tenders ,they were so fresh tasting that I feel they have other tenders beat! My daughter loves the kids chicken nuggets too! The fries were also good! The dessert was 9/10 only because the bananas were a little to fresh haha, but the actually toppings and ice cream Omgggg lol!!! Definitely can’t wait to go back! ❤️
