I ordered two things for delivery: Ramen and Volcano roll. As you can see in this picture, the chasu was PURE fat. Ya, I get it that pork is usually fatty but this one had literally no meat in it which I refused to eat just fat. The container they put the ramen in is NOT microwave safe, I put it in there and the paper started to decompose lol The broth was also kinda thick but it tasted ok. They also do not have chicken option for ramen, only a deep fried one?
The volcano roll was actually good but for $18 I hope to at least get 6 piece of rolls and it was 5. Quite an expensive price for only 5 rolls.
Not sure I will be ordering from them again. Very disappointed, specially with the ramen.

The food is not as it seems. The ramen we ordered had no flavor at all and they refused to switch it out or take it back. When I told the waiter that I didn’t like my food she told me “well that’s what you ordered” ??? It was the last hour until close and I feel like they just gave us whatever they had left —didn’t even wanna take our order. Even chain ramen like Jinya is 10x. Better than this ramen. They could care less that I didn’t like my food. My waiter just continued cleaning up. For me to get a very spicy ramen and for it to literally taste like water is actually insane. Noodles were to floury overall 0/10. If you like ramen do not come here.

I’m a vegetarian, so there are limited options in general, and I understand that going in. I don’t expect the world to revolve around my eating habits. I got my vegetarian alternative (sweet potato rolls). They were soggy and flavorless.
If you are not a vegetarian friendly place, that’s totally fine. I can always find some where else to eat. If you’re going to put in a vegetarian option, please don’t treat it like you don’t have to try. Just don’t put it there and let me buy something that doesn’t taste like wet sponge.
Update: I received the response below a day later, so upgrade for responsiveness. Responding to the inquiry, no the order was over the weekend, not Monday. I believe it was Saturday night.

This place was such a pleasant surprise. We decided to play hooky and going on a midday date. My husband was suffering with some allergy issues and this was quite the remedy. We ordered the calamari (can’t remember the name on the menu but it’s fried squid), king dragon roll, spicy seafood ramen, and the fried chicken ramen. Everything was more than delicious! The calamari had a delicious, what I assume was, red pepper aioli sauce which was packed with flavor. The squid was fried to perfection and nice and hot! The sushi had SO much flavor I couldn’t believe it. Definitely one of the best dragon rolls I’ve ever had and the ramen was Sooogood! The Broth was amazing the noodles were very fresh and the seafood was just what I needed. I can’t wait to go back!

Good food and good services. Even these were not authentic Japanese foods, I enjoyed the ramen and sashimi with reasonable price. I can see why this restaurant is popular and it stands up with its good reviews. As a visitor to Rockville, I enjoyed my dinner!

This isn’t the first time I’ve tried to write a review and post pics about this place. But each time I don’t have time to take pictures as my family eats everything faster than I can remember. Doesn’t that say a lot? Delicious food, large portions, fast service, adequate prices! What more do you need? They recently upgraded the furniture and now there is a corner for large company. Perfect for a family!

Excellent Ramen. Made fresh right in front of you. I had the volcano which was great combo of richness, heat, and complexity. Good pork noodles made beautifully to order. Had a poke appetizer which tasted fresh and delicious.
Recommend give it a try. Worth the wait since there’s a well deserved line.

We had the California Roll and the Philadelphia Roll. The sushi was fresh and amazing. Tasted top tier.
I had the volcano Tonkotsu Ramen with extra egg and spicy sauce. It was AMAZING.
My daughter had the Tonkotsu Miso Ramen. She loved it and gave it a 5/5.
