The decor is so interesting, there is plenty to look at.
My husband had the fish po boy which was done to perfection, however the roumelade was the strangest we had ever seen or tasted. It looked like and tasted like it had just been taken out of a jar of stone ground mustard.
I had the chicken quesadilla which was so soggy it could not be picked up which was aggravating. The flavor was OK and the chicken was cut up way too small as if for a toddlers lunch. With the price point it was totally not worth coming back.
Our server did not tell us about the specials.
The soda came with so much ice it was barely 4 sips.

The food was great! Fried chicken was delicious. All six of us enjoyed our meals. The coconut cake is incredible!!! Our service was awesome and our server made our experience wonderful! She took the time to draw a picture on my grandsons cup and to pay special attention to him.

Country charm abounds! Our table had 2 salads and a turkey dinner. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had a garden salad with grilled chicken and it was fresh, had lots of different vegetables, and the homemade blue cheese dressing was chunky goodness! Service was quick to bring the food, but slow to bring a check.

Wednesday night, had the Wednesday special, fried chicken with fried Okra and sweet potato fries. Sweet Caroline burger with house chips. And of course the onion loaf for starters. Everything was delicious. Our server was attentive and kept out tea glasses full.

The food – every single bite – was amazing. From the house made ranch dressing and fried green tomatoes to the coconut cake and everything in between / just lovely! The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, the service is just delightful. 10 out 10- highly recommend!

The place is awesome with amazing decor. Our service was perfect and all the staff were friendly and smiles everywhere. The establishment is clean and comfortable. The only problem was the food. The fried okra was way over fried. I had the pulled pork sandwich which came with enough barbecue sauce for an infant. We will try again especially would like to try the coconut cake!

We went to celebrate our anniversary. For us it was a 50 minute drive which turned out to be a great decision. We walked in and were seated quickly. Our waitress McKenna was fabulous. She made us feel like we were family. She had such a great personality and smile. We both had steaks and they came out perfect. The food had great flavor and at a very reasonable price. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy again soon. Thank you McKenna for making us feel like regulars.
