Found this place while visiting Richmond. The photos looked great and we were craving Chinese, so we ordered takeout (Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken & Broccoli). Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The total came to $36, which is quite expensive for the small portions we received. To make matters worse, the quality just wasn’t there. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Went in for dinner to a local favorite. Usually food is good. Tonight’s order of seafood in stone pot was not one i enjoyed. Was looking for the seafood….There are a lot better dishes which are reallt good from prior visits. Bubble pancake was pretty good.

This was our first time back in quite a few years, and we went for my birthday. This restaurant is about half the size it used to be, and the menu has cut drastically. We were still able to get our favorite hot and numbing fish and shrimp, but the beef dish that we used to love is no longer on the menu, which was very disappointing. Everything was very good that we had, but still disappointing.And we probably will not go back any time soon, due to the availability of the food we use to really enjoy.

One of the best Chinese food we have ever had. Shan City Chicken was really good. We also had Crazy Beef with Ghost Chili, and it was fantastic. Service was good and this place is nice and clean.

This has been my Wife and I’s go to chinese spot since moving to Virginia.
We get the hot and numbing chicken pot and grandmas sweet and sour chicken. Lettuce wraps or the scallion bubble pancake for appetizer.
Food is always delicious and the service is top notch.
The atmosphere is cozy for such high end flavor.

their food used to be a 10/10. But they have since lost their flavor. I can’t even get the numbness from the sichuan peppercorn anymore. Their food is still good just not lived up to the standard they set before.

This is my 5th time going to this restaurant. It was super crowded during night on Saturday however we got a table quickly. The service was good . Loved the lemonade drink. I would recommend vegetarian people as well. It has lot of options. We loved the egg plant dry, fish rolls with sauce, grandma noodles, chicken popcorn, bamboo fish and onion and chicken hot pot. We all enjoyed our dinner. Its a awesome restaurant .

Decided to try this restaurant out with a few friends of mine. We live a good Asian cuisine so why not go for a family style Chinese dinner since it was a large group of us. Happy to say, the food was delicious and the the service was great as well.
The Food: Our group was very hungry, so we got a lot of food. From chicken, pork belly, seafood, tofu and beef. I think we covered our bases. My favorite of the dishes we had was the “House Special Flounder Fish Fillet”. The fish was cooked very nicely and tender and the sauce/veggies that the fish was placed on top of was amazing. Other dishes like the “Mapo Tofu” was delicious as well. Everything had a nice authentic flavor and taste.
The Service: The service was great! Staff were friendly and attentive with refills and updates on our meal. The dishes were brought out in a timely manner, even on a busy weekend dinner service.
Overall, a solid 5/5. I’d highly recommend trying this place out. I don’t think you could go wrong with any choice. The prices are fair for the portions you get as well.
