To say we accidentally stumbled into a fantastic atmosphere with outstanding service and phenomenal food would be putting it mildly.
From the greeting by the hostess, the introduction of our server Shayna, and the presentation of the evening specials, we knew we were in for a wonderful evening.
The fried crawfish deviled eggs were an excellent start. Our entrees were exactly as ordered. The desert and coffee was an excellent send off.
My wife loved her sirloin. My Ribeye was 100% on point. And the lemon ice box pie was the perfect tart.
Wholeheartedly recommend this establishment and Shayna.

first of all, our server Brandy was wonderful.
the mashed potatoes are either instant potatoes or old. their holiday lemon drop martini and old fashioned tasted like lemonade – we couldn’t even drink them. the steak frites was very old beef roast. the fries were the best thing on the table. went here because we happened to be on the westbank and we relied on the strength of legacy kitchen from years ago and was highly disappointed. won’t go to another legacy kitchen property again.

As a single person they naturally wanted to seat me at the bar, I declined as I preferred a table. The service was wonderful, my drink stayed full and cook time was appropriate. The oysters were good, maybe a tad overcooked, the smaller ones were scalded to the shell, not uniform in size. Dinner salad with the ginger lime vinegrette was amazing. I got the Wednesday night steak special. The steak was cooked wonderfully to medium rare and the flavor was on point. The potatoes were a huge disappointment, grainy instant mix, flavorless. And lastly where I came to my conclusion of 3 stars. The menu, chicken and waffles have no business on a menu with nice steaks and fine foods. Very random and killed the high end vibe for me. Overall I would try more foods here but would be cautious of pricing on the menu for the value of the food.

Your ” Manager ” NEVER bothered to speak with us… NEVER… ( This was a Lie ).
There was enough fat on the steak to make another steak with… I’ve had better from a food Truck in Port Sulphur… ( You should try 3-D bar b que).
There was nothing wrong with my salad, but serving what tasted like ” instant potatoes ” with an $80.00 steak? Seriously, I had to send them back. Ps: I’m not the only person to comment on the fact they tasted like instant potatoes that needed to be spit out).
The only ( Multiple request ) was to replace the potatoes and a refill of tea ) hardly Multiple request, and they were NOT handled by the manager.

Never, never, never believe 5-star reviews, when they bury the others. Thought I’d see if anything changed since my last visit and I couldn’t even locate my own review about the place because it’s been either buried or somehow removed, thus the reason for the update.
How can you have this many 5 stars when:
1) The restaurant was completely Empty on Weekend night at 6pm?
2) $80.00 (24oz ) looked more like 12oz and half if that was F.A.T. AND drowned in butter.
It was Cooked as requested but excessive amount of fat & butter.
3) Mashed potatoes tasted like they were ( instant potatoes ) instead of fresh , real potatoes, and many other reviews stated the same thing. How does a supposed 5 star restaurant serve instant potatoes next to an $80.00 steak???
Tasted so bad that I requested to exchange them for anything.
4) Our server did a good job but as far as ” Atmosphere ” the entire restaurant was E.M.P.T.Y…
5) On a personal note:
I’ve had better meals within 5 Miles of this place for 1/3 the $ cost and will Never be back.

For a steak that cost 80 bucks, it wasn’t worth it, it was bland. Onion rings has more flavor than my others dishes. Crawfish cornbread without crawfish? Need to rename it to cornbread. Them oyster was like baby’s, my potato was cold. Plus it took a minute for us to get our food. I’m giving it a 2 star is fair. I wouldn’t recommend this places.

Attended Legacy on 2/13/2026 and enjoyed it very much. First off the waitress Sabrina was very attentive to every need. The food was very good, my wife and I had steaks, Brussel sprouts with mac and cheese. She had a filet and I had the ribeye. My steak was a lil under but sent it back to the kitchen. The manager personal brought out my steak and apologized. My wife enjoyed her time there and said we will be coming back for more date nights. I will say that the reviews had me skeptical but I rolled the dice and was happy I did.
