This local Italian restaurant in Puerto Plata is truly the best in town. The food is authentic, delicious, and always made with great quality ingredients, all at very reasonable prices. The customer service is excellent—friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Parking is easy and there’s plenty of space, which makes the visit even more convenient. My wife and I have eaten at least 6 times in the last 6 months and have nothing but fond memories of the food and service. Last night we had a couple of appetizers and a large Pizza half Sausage and half everything. The seafood crostini was amazing. The Ceasar salad with chicken would not have been better in New York and the Pizza is among the best in DR. We always enjoy a nice bottle of wine and that did not disappoint. One thing that was amazing was our waitress actually remembered my first name from 4 months ago. Top notch and knows her stuff and also speaks English and helped us with Spanish.

In the past I really liked this place. what I really do not like about this place is the service. You guys constantly play with prices 50 peso more 50 peso less and sneaky employees who pretend they don’t owe you change. Im confused how I order the same pizza over and over for 950 peso. but today it was 200 peso more and then the employee tries gaslighting me with card it’s more when I’ve paid the same amount for months with cash and card. it’s not about the extra 200 peso it’s about trying to hustle me making up for doble sueldo. Hope the owner sees this, you need to review the girl who works on cash. same one that tried pocketing change.

The food was ok. But not that Italian as one would have guessed. The burrata was extremely cold when served and the cheese was as if it had been frozen. The local is big, safe, with accesible parking and air conditioning in an area and terrace in another area. Serves well to go with kids but the food didn’t reached the expectations. The prices were a little overpriced for what you get. The seafood pasta wasn’t at all like I would get it any other time. For my dissatisfaction there wasn’t tiramisu for dessert left. It was plain ok. The pizza was average too. But nothing in special would bring me back.

This place exceeded my expectations. The ambiance is great. Very peaceful looking place to eat. I love the antique car in the center of the restaurant. The food was delicious. Service was excellent and fast. Great menu. I can clearly see why this restaurant is the highest rated place in the area. I would recommend anyone visiting visiting puerto plata to try this place.

Overall, decent food and service. Nice outfoor patio space for dining. I ordered the fettuchini carbonara with shrimp, the pasta was a touch overcooked but the sauce was decent and the portions were good. We also tried the bruschetta and seafood pizza. The pizza was good but the dough used for the crust was more like flatbread than pizza dough.
All in all, we enjoyed the atmophere and food.

I ordered the gnocchi with four cheeses, and they were clearly store-bought, not handmade, which is disappointing for a restaurant that claims to be ‘authentically Italian.’ The Aperol Spritz was just decent, nothing spectacular, and the pizza was average at best—a 7/10, comparable to cheap pizza you can find anywhere. The prices were too high for the quality of the food. On a positive note, the service was friendly, though they often forgot details and had to be reminded. Overall, I didn’t enjoy the place and wouldn’t go back, but I did have a good time, mostly due to the group of people I was with.
