Our Don Joaquin We have been serving our 100% Mexican food service for over 10 years. Don Joaquin arrived at the United States with the dream of carrying his style of food that he already served in Queretaro, Mexico, getting to taste the unique flavor of his authentic food. Already having our forth location in the State of Utah serving taco lover´s in Springville, Provo, American Fork and a new location in Lindon, we are very happy to be able to bring our flavor to your table.

Wow, the food here is amazing. Be careful with the salsas if you don’t like super spicy. The guacamole salsa is my favorite and a lot less kick to it. Definitely recommend the street tacos or the cheese with meat quesadillas. Some of thr best I’ve had.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was bad enough that people should be warned. I ordered horchata, took a sip, and noticed something in my mouth, I spit it out and After looking closer, it was a mosquito pupa. Finding a bug in a drink is absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable.
This isn’t a small mistake or a nitpick – it’s a serious sanitation issue. Drinks like horchata should be prepared and stored in clean, sealed containers, and the fact that something like this made it into a customer’s cup shows a lack of basic food safety standards.
The experience instantly ruined my appetite and made me question the cleanliness of the entire kitchen. When you’re serving food to the public, especially drinks that people consume without seeing what’s inside, cleanliness should be non-negotiable.
I left feeling sick and disappointed, and I have no desire to return. Management seriously needs to address their hygiene practices. Until that happens, I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Our go to Mexican plate when we want tacos. My personal favorite is the Al pastor because of the sweet & savory combination. My husband loves the lengua as well & he always gets the grilled veggies. Their horchata is always yummy same with the hibiscus
My only complaint is they call out the number in Spanish so if you don’t speak Spanish you won’t know yours is ready!!

Not one of the staff where able to understand english while I was just trying to ask for extra tortillas. They got upset at me for not knowing Spanish…. I am a person of color but that doesn’t mean I know spanish.
The food fine, it’s cheap, decent and fast. This place is great for online orders and for a quick lunch. However not having an English speaker present on all shifts seems odd and made ordering in person difficult, even with google translate.
