I visited twice while temporarily staying in Woodburn. Both times my order was served quickly and the quality of food was unparalleled to other fast food offerings. I’m not sure why this remains the last Artic Circle location but it made me wish there were more locations convenient to me in Portland. Thanks AC, I hope to be back anytime I’m in the area.

Nostalgia puts this location as a solid “3 out of 5”, the same flickering fluorescent lights at the 1990’s, faded sign, mediocre burgers and service I remember that lead to the chain nearly disappearing is still alive here today – it’s like a time warp! Strongly suggest you pickup a Blockbuster DVD rental in Bend, Oregon – drive 3 hours West to Arctic Circle in Woodburn, and then drive another 2 hours West to Lincoln City and stay in one of the 1960’s motels and watch your DVD with a full belly of Arctic Circle to really relive the 1990’s at their best. Forget fast casual and streaming in an all-inclusive resort, that’s so today, you need to enjoy a soggy cheeseburger with shredded lettuce and mayo (who does this still???) with luke-warm fries and a small RC Cola and rock some Pearl Jam in your ear buds to fully appreciate this gem of a place. Just as ‘well, okay, I guess’ as it was back in the day, it’s still that way today.

We visited for nostalgia, wont be back.
Girl at the counter was incredibly rude, and became outright hostile after I selected the “no tip” option on the card reader (who expects a tip at fast food?).
Burger was tasteless, fries were soggy, and when I went to get our ice creams, said counter girl said I didn’t pay for them and argued with me even after I’d shown my receipt.
Definitely won’t be back

The bathroom situation is odd and I didn’t like having to go outside the building to be let back in the back door to get there.
The workers were average. Food was good.

I came to Artic Circle with my mom because it is our favorite fast restaurant and the only one of 2 in Oregon. The girl taking our order and servicing us at the window was absolutely disrespectful. She cut us off mid sentences and snatched the card reader from our hands. She needs to find a new job! A customer service job isn’t for her. Extremely poor service, and terrible attitude. This happened at 11:59 am 12/15/2025.

I haven’t ever been to an Arctic Circle that I can remember. Moved to Woodburn a year ago and we finally went. The two ladies working were friendly, no complaints with the service. But the food was so bad. The fries weren’t salted (I don’t think anything was), and everything was so bland. My teens said the chicken sandwich tasted like the frozen patties in the grocery store. The inside was pretty old, and bugs were flying around. I wanted a milkshake but something was broken, so I can’t say anything about the ice cream. The experience was pretty funny though, cause I haven’t been to a place where literally everything was bad lol.

Best fast food ever! Halibut sandwich was fantastic. Their fry sauce is legendary. Grew up eating at Arctic Circle. Wish we still had them near us.

The desert was good. Food was ok. Regular fast food stuff nothing bad, nothing spectacular. The girls working out front were very nice, polite and quick. However as we were eating I noticed what was either mold or dust on the ceiling and signs of water damage. Highly concerning. Either way if it was dust or mold it’s not healthy for employees or patrons.

Love this place and that unique AC flavor. One of two left in Oregon and has tons of options and milk shakes galore! I drive here from Portland as often as I can. Love me a Double Cheese and some Chicky Rings with a Lime Rickey
In N Out? Never heard of her.
