Stopped by Whisper House for a couple of drinks and appetizers and had an amazing experience. The place was lively, the bar setup was beautiful, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I grabbed a seat at the bar and was greeted right away by Nikki, who provided phenomenal service from start to finish.
I had a whiskey sour, their special old-fashioned, and a Doc Holliday every drink was fantastic. Watching the bartenders work was impressive; they clearly know their craft. For food, I had the ahi tuna tacos, jalapeño popper wontons (my favorite, the dipping sauce was incredible), and the bruschetta bread. Everything was delicious.
Shoutout to Nikki and RJ for making the experience even better. Great service, great teamwork, great conversations. I’ll definitely be back.

This was a cool restaurant in a little trendy community mini mall built in an old packing house building. The inside was a lively bar with many tables. We chose to sit outside because it was quieter. The staff was friendly and helpful. Even pulling over a gas heater because I’m always cold. The food was mixed. My salmon was a but overcooked and the bourbon glaze didn’t taste much like bourbon and mostly just added saltiness. I should have ordered the mahi. My wife’s grilled cheese and soup on the other hand was amazing for such a simple order. The types and amount of cheeses and the rustic white bread made a perfect pairing with the tomato soup. Sometimes simple things done well can be amazing. We also tried a seasonal cocktail. A pumpkin spice vodka concoction that was pretty tasty
Overall it was pretty expensive for what we got but it was a good date night venue.

Best place for appetizers and drinks!! We always sit at the bar. RJ is the best bartender period. Great staff all around. Get the expresso martini with bourbon or tequila. You’ll love it!! All their drinks are great and the ambiance is awesome.

Brie plate and wake up burger were 5/5. I would personally skip the short rib grilled cheese next time. Service was great and they made my friend’s birthday real nice and special. Heads up on the loud train that runs past the restaurant every now and then.

We set outdoor at the patio. Nice ambience. However, the train track was right behind the restaurant and you would hear the train passed by every now and then.

It can get a little bit busy during weekends but it’s a nice vibe inside. With a pretty dark interior and a great list of cocktails, it’s a solid date night choice.
They missed their mark a little bit because the cocktails and the food was good but each felt like it was missing something important.
Bruschetta: Get
Always a refreshing dish, this one was indeed the same. It was a great starter and the mozzarella was creamy and fresh, but I felt like it could have used more balsamic or more punch somewhere
Chicken pot pie: Skip?
Of course a hearty dish that will fill you up, I just felt like it could have been more creamy or savory. It’s an unfortunate comparison but I probably would have preferred marie calendars over this
Service was okay and seemed a little bit too casual for a date night vibe tbh. And the items are priced a little bit higher than the taste should be been. But overall, decent date night if you are in the area.

This was the most mellow atmosphere one could ask for. I went with family and the service is amazing, food is so delicious. I had the smoked Mahi Mahi and it was cooked to perfection, whatever they use for their broccoli and asparagus seasoning, I need to know.

I’ve visited this spot several times, and it’s become my go-to for meeting up with friends, especially since it’s a convenient midway point. About a year ago, I recommended this place to an out-of-state vendor from Oklahoma, and they loved it. The food selection was spot on—my jambalaya was fantastic—and the beer options were equally impressive.
On my most recent visit, I made it in time for happy hour and enjoyed a half-portion of nachos, paired with a glass of red wine and a light beer. The atmosphere and lighting here always set the perfect mood for a relaxed evening. The bar area, with multiple TVs, is ideal for sports fans. Overall, I highly recommend this spot for a casual hangout or a quick bite during happy hour!

I had to get out the house and get something to drink, and I went here for the first time. The ambiance was special, it was adoring, and it felt very quaint. The lighting gave a warm feeling of acceptance and love. The staff was welcoming and kind, and full of optimism and happiness. I sat at the bar and RJ, the bartender gave me a drink. He was an awesome, and gave an awesome conversation. The drink he made was really well done, and the whole experience was great. If you want to have a nice night, a casual drink, or just see a cool place, I really recommend this restaurant, and the whole experience at Whisper House is something to look forward to. There is really not that many classy and well established places like this in the area, highly recommend to check it out.

My hubby and I drive 24miles (from Pasadena) to this place every time we’re craving a chicken pot pie. Honestly, the best CPP we have had. Servers are always so welcoming and friendly, with a great memory. They always automatically serve us what they know we drink/like. We always find seating at the bar(where we like to sit at places like these) Their bartenders service and chicken pot pie is the reason for the rating
