Well I don’t know what to say but my experience on this salad was meh! I hate it when they put hard chunks of chicken, not fresh, just dry. It gets me agitated that you pay so much for this salad that the taste isn’t there, and what’s with the letus cores y’all seriously, and it says Avocado salad really 2 slices…. yall need improvement on those salads I mean if you know it is a bit amount of chicken the least you can put is freshly cut pieces it be nice and hot not all sitting there who knows how long chicken and have an aweful taste that you have to put the dressing to make it moist and even then not all that. It used to be awesome. idk what happened, maybe lazy, or just don’t care. But if you the ones behind counter if you were on our side I bet you would get a nice salad and yes we the people pay but expect our moneys worth and not the false photos on the board and get a flop. Get it together. Everyone pays and expects good food.

Loved it when they had the carnitas quesadilla but turns out it was limited time the meat was so juicy and tasty especially with the cilantro salsa it def. Hit the spot so tried the chicken avocado quesadilla and taste alittle similar but still good! Started going recently because of the carnitas quesadilla but now im liking the chicken avicado… good food sometimes varies on them giving me chips when i order it as a meal i guess depending on the person tending you. Lately they have been having rude employees especially inthe drive thru.

During my visit to the restaurant, the customer service was excellent and the staff were polite.
However, the food I received was not in acceptable condition for consumption.
The chicken had a strange and unusual smell.
The food appeared spoiled or mishandled.
For safety reasons, I decided not to eat the meal.
I request that the restaurant review food handling procedures, particularly for the shift on duty at that time.

Texas Food Establishment Rules (TFER)
Texas Health & Safety Code § 431 – Adulterated Food
Company policies requiring safe and sanitary food preparation.

***Aug 11, 2025.Not ever coming back to the Brownsville store. 2 times in a row it was horrible. What little chicken was in my two $5 tacos was undercooked and full of gristle, plus they were soggy and bland. The green salsa was watery and the 2nd bag of chips I ordered was still way too brown/overcooked and greasy. My hubby’s Guacamole Burrito was also soggy, underfilled and gross. The restaurant needs better upkeep and better management. Probably won’t make it if things don’t improve fast. I heard 2 other customers out of 3 complaining, too. We like the McAllen/Pharr locations.

first time trying this place and was highly disappointed. Lady taking orders was very rude, and then the lady that brought out the food completely ignored me greeting her. i ordered the corn salad, and found a black hair in it, which could not be my hair as i am blonde. very disappointed

Really bad customer service from 2 workers helping in the drive-thru. The person that I was with in the car mistakingly ordered a double pollo street corn bowl (the one with the salad). At the window, BEFORE paying, I asked nicely for them to repeat the order. I corrected that it was a regular street corn pollo bowl and proceeded to pay. When I received my food, I notice it’s just the original pollo bowl. Cashier Yuritza didn’t allow us to even speak up about them giving the order wrong and slammed shut the window on our face.

Their chicken is very well seasoned and has an amazing flavor. I used to go frequently for lunch, but once of my lunch buddies prefers larger portions of food. As a result, I go whenever that individual can’t make it to lunch. I might miss their company, but I enjoy the food!

Bad customer service from Nidia F in drive thru. Also they are always conveniently “out” of churros. And portions are not great either. I ordered a pollo bowl and there’s barely any chicken.
