Thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Dave’s fish bar & restaurant. I opted for the regular haddock & chips with curry sauce and they gave us this HUGE portion. The fish was light and flaky, the chips were nice and crispy and the curry sauce was delicious too! Overall I would highly recommend going to Dave’s if you are in the Sheringham area.

Me and my wife have had many takeaway fish n chips at Daves over many year’s. Sunday we went into the restaurant as we were very cold ect. I ordered large cod + chips and my wife had standard cod + chips. My large was massive with 2 large pieces of cod and plenty of lovely chips. Was absolutely fantastic. Would highly recommend 100%

The best fish and chips I’ve ever eaten, yes really! Very fresh and lightly battered fish, non-greasy, fluffy chips and several side options, plus drinks. Choice of sit down restaurant or takeaway available – we chose the former and were greeted by friendly staff, served super quickly. The restaurant was busy with a nice atmosphere and the queue outside for the takeaway was snaking back down the path (always a good sign). There are benches attached to the wall on which to eat outside too. Having just returned from Cornwall and tried a few fish and chip takeaways and eat-in places, Dave’s is by far the best. Try this place, you won’t be disappointed!

Checked out the reviews for fish & chips and Dave’s was highly rated. There were 5 of us and we all really enjoyed the fish and chips. Food cooked fresh and it was worth the little wait and its tastes great. Good valve for money and helpful staff. The dog love the leftovers.

I had the daves special and it was very nice. The fish was fab. Nice crisp with soft white flakes. No bones. Chips were OK. Mushy peas were good. For the money you can’t go wrong.

As others have written in their reviews, it was the best fish and chips I’ve ever had No unpleasant smell of fish, the meat was plump and the batter was crispy. The curry sauce was delicious.

Gosh the chips are good, they tasted of potato and they weren’t over cooked. The sausage was quality, it had a good amount of seasoning/flavour all for a fiver! Cash only was weird but there’s a cash point at Sainsbury’s round the corner.
We stood and ate indoors because it was very cold plus it’s always good to have more salt and vinegar when you share a large portion of chips. Totally delicious!
