Can’t believe average rating so low. This little house of Thai is authentically delicious. You have to enjoy spice. Medium was good enough for me and my hubby went full out with Thai Hot. He loved it. I thought I saw steam coming out his ears. But just tell the nice lady your spice level. Ring the bell if there not at the window. We ordered drunken noodles and a beef salad Took 10 minutes. Tables out side to wait and eat. Very good if you like Thai food. Then drive the extra miles to get here!! It’s in a large parking area next to gas station. Don’t let the humble exterior fool you this is great food.

Called in an order for pickup. Figured I would be told the price, and I wasn’t. I was thinking $30 max for food. Got there and the order was $40 before tip. They wanted $20 for the rolls, they were not worth that much. I won’t be back. It’s not worth the price, wasn’t that flavorful, and they only take cash. I can find better Thai food in Fairbanks or Anchorage. I’d rather pack food for the drive than spend money here again.

Being on a Thanksgiving day really difficult to find a restaurant serving beyond 2pm afternoon! Everybody was shut when Tok Thai in Glenallen was our Messiah After a lot of calls and online research we found Tok Thai which was open and ready to serve till 9pm! Bless you Jeb (sweet lady who will take your order from the window and also cook for you 🙂
The 25 option printed menu & few more options written on a paper are to choose from… We ordered
#2 Egg rolls, #4 Chicken fried rice, #6 Spicy chicken fried rice, #19 Tom yum spicy chicken soup (2 portions is also served with plain rice)
Price wise all the items are 20$ each. Portion is good/ massive one portion of Tom yum soup served with plain rice was saved for dinner.
Flavour taste wise excellent
Savoury, delicious and soul food.

We search them on google and called on phone number 1 hrs before there closing time which goes to voice mail we left messages that we are arriving 10 min late but make order for us
But when we arrived two ladies were there after closing and we explain the situation
But they said we haven’t received any call or voice message we respecting their time but rather than find out what phone number we calling they said you calling wrong number
That should correct their phone number on google then

Update: I went back and this time the Green Curry was just like it used to be! The normal larger portion, lots of veggies, lots of rice, and the taste was amazing! It must have been a fluke the one time I got such a bad small meal, it’s back to being my favorite green curry! Thank you for fixing this Tok Thai! I’d give 5 stars but I don’t love the chicken rib meat, it’d be 5 stars if it was breast meat but I understand because that increased the price, either way it’s delicious!
I’ve been coming here since they opened and have always loved it but unfortunately the quality has gone down hill. I always get Chicken Green Curry and it always has veggies in it. My last visit there was no veggies, the container size shrank, the price increased, and that “fresh” taste was gone. I wish they would get the quality back that they had when they started. You can certainly taste the difference between fresh and cheap. Hopefully it was just a fluke?!

I didn’t even make picture of my food (I got noodles) that’s how hungry I was. It’s amazing that they have even papaya salad and larb, which are traditional dishes, that not many Thai places will have. Overall, great place didn’t expect to have such a good lunch in the middle of nowhere

Take out only and cash only place. We didn’t expect much from it with low rating, but the food was delicious with good thai flavors. Quick service. Happy to grab good Thai good in this remote area.

Ok… It was not bad, but the color of the friend rice was not the one I am accustomed to.. normally it has some darker color when you
Fry the rice, probably because of the heat and the soy sauce… But, without the color went the taste away. I would go somewhere else next time I stop in glenallen.

Please do not go to this restaurant. It is not at all Thai—I don’t think it is any cuisine. The fried rice was more like mixed frozen vegetables with plain rice. The pad see ew, which is a common wide rice noodle dish in Thai restaurants, was instead rice with chicken on the side (emphasis on the ew, I guess). On top of all that, each dish was $15?? And for barely any quantity. They didn’t even give us extra plates when we asked, and told us to use the opposite side of the takeout box. Though were were starving, I would’ve rather preferred to eat at the gas station nearby.
