I was served right away and the order was taken successfully. This location does not have a kiosk, so human interaction was a nice change. The awkward part was I was asked what I was going to have to drink. This location has a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine where you have endless options.
All drink options seemed to be in stock and the drink station was clean. The lids were getting low, but there were plenty of a small crowd came in.
The lobby needs some love as it is starting to show it’s age. It was clean with no issues but things looking like they are about to fall apart.
The men’s restroom was awkward as a onesie. There could easily been a divider placed between the toilet and sink, to accommodate 2 people, but either to save money or poor planning caused this.
The fries were hit and fresh! Unfortunately, the Dave’s single was cold and lacked flavor. It was made correctly, just not a fan of cold cheeseburgers.
I love to travel throughout Michigan and checkout various fast food restaurants. As of Wendy’s, Wixom has the best service and food quality. This one needs a trainer/manager to step up and turn this mediocre restaurant to a 4+ star location. If the food was hot, I could’ve ignored the dates lobby.
If you are eating your sandwiches at home, then you have a microwave to heat them up. Eating there is not a great option.
He makes my day every time!
He rolled his eyes as they placed their orders, appeared visibly annoyed, and showed no patience or courtesy. When one elderly gentleman tried to pay in cash, the employee didn’t even bother to extend his hand to meet him halfway. The man had to awkwardly shuffle forward with his cane just to complete the transaction. It was hard to watch. The woman with a disability was treated with the same kind of dismissiveness, like serving her was a burden.
To make matters worse, loud swearing and complaints were coming from the kitchen area while these customers were still at the counter. It showed a complete lack of professionalism and respect — especially for guests who clearly needed a little more care and patience.
It was disheartening to see such disregard for basic human decency. People deserve better than this — especially those who are elderly or disabled. I sincerely hope this is addressed. Date of visit was 7/6 at approximately 1:20pm.
