Oh my goodness! What a treat! I haven’t had a meal at a Shoneys that was this tummy in years. The food was seriously AMAZING!Our server, Tanya, was fantastic! Everything was so, so good! I highly recommend! Thank you, Tanya, for making our visit great. Update, it was so good, day 2 of our trip we came back.

The service isn’t great. They dnt tell you about offers or specials going on. Ive ate here several times hoping something gets better with the food. Nope. The meats arent cooked til done except for bacon. The chicken was still white from being undercooked. I only got a small triangle of ham to try and I ended up getting food poisoning. I tried what I thought was chili but it was not. It had cabbage in it. It was very nasty. Not good at all. There lettuce for salads always tastes nasty. I cnt explain that one. I love salads but im never able to eat theirs. It always has a sticky dirty floor underneath your table. So if your looking for a deal its not worth getting sick or not getting foods that you wld enjoy. We paid around $16.00 a person with tax plus a tip each all we got that was edible was the choc ice cream cake (once we paid) and lemon water and one coffee. We saw papers for a free one for that day only at the register that no one was telling anyone about so we had to take it to go and eat it in the car. I like real potatoes, real eggs, and real gravy not boxed or powdered. I wnt be going back. I pay alot less going to apple bees and never having an issue with anything. For great chicken Food City in Middlesboro Ky hot bar is the best around here.

This place should be close to shutting down. Their parking lot looked like a crime scene. Not sure what that was about but yellow tape blocking traffic everywhere. It was confusing as to whether they’re still open or not. The service was mediocre. The food on the buffet that’s supposed to be fresh and hot tasted lukewarm and gross. They must not realize there are still health department standards even when you’re not that busy. Plus it cost like $60 for a family of three to eat dinner. Won’t be back to another Shoneys. Just have to accept this chain is well past its prime!

Shoney’s was great!The food was good and fresh, and our waitress was very nice. My only small gripe is that there wasn’t a huge selection of food, but what they did have was tasty and well-prepared. Overall, a pleasant dining experience!

Rude waitress, bar was about empty and a lady didnt know about swiped a serving spoon out of my mom hand when refilled finally and then gave me a mean look walkin by my table totally dont know her. Then caused a arguemnt because they didnt see what waitress was doing while in the bathroom waitress never refilled my drink but my familys twice. Mean bad atmosphere.

I will say that the salad bar was stocked and fresh items were on it, but the hot bar was a hot mess. Very few things were filled, the items that were on the hot bar had a crust like substance from where they had sat without being stirred. The entire time we were there, absolutely no hot foods had been replenished…even the soup tasted burnt. The price has also went up by nearly two dollars as well.
Our server was non-existent and when she returned she smelled as if she had just hot boxed a cigarette behind the dumpster.

Awesome lunch at Shoney’s! Vanessa was our AWESOME server (Thats 5 thumbs up!) She was friendly, efficient and easily answered our questions about the menu. She even shared BONUS tips making our meal even better than anticipated by sharing her knowledge about the menu and delicious food. At her suggestion, I tried the catfish ( Fresh Food Bar ) with a little bit of ranch dressing. I’ve not had catfish because I consider it a “dirty” fish. * shown in pic* It was delicious ! I will DEFINITELY get the catfish next time. Its also the 1st time I’ve been able to get lemon juice pre squeezed for my water. We are traveling from Florida in our rv toy hauler and stopped for lunch as we continue out on our motorcycle to check out Knoxville. Vanessa cheerfully offered to fill our stainless steel Tumblers w ice & water or iced tea for my husband so we could stay hydrated. She made our visit to Shoney’s a pleasant experience ☺️

IF YOU LIKE COUNTRY MUSIC, YOU’LL LOVE SHONEY’S! Believe it or not, this was my first time ever at a Shoney’s, since I’ve been in Colorado for the last 20 years. Really liked the all-you-can-eat buffet dinner bar with hot foods, salads, desserts, plenty of great choices . . . Even some healthy ones.
. . . All for just $10.99 Mondays through Thursdays. And only $7.79 for Seniors on Sundays! I’ll be back that’s for SURE . . .
