We have been here about 10 times. The calzones are the best I have ever had and I am in my 50s. They are not skimpy. The crust is amazing buttery crispy, chewy and flavorful.

I have also had that pizza here which is great! The drinks are phenomenal along with the Service. It’s an awesome little place that I think you should check out.

I hope this review doesn’t make the restaurant too busy where I can no longer get a seat, but I just can’t say enough about this place.

We were very disappointed with our order of pizza and wings! It was cold, dry, tough and not appetizing at all!! We will not be ordering again. When I called to let the restaurant know of our displeasure, the girl who answered didn’t seem to care! Serving fresh food would be a plus!
Who took a bite out of this wing before we got our order? Really bad food!!

This pizza experience was very mids. I probably won’t ever order from here again. Arrived to the restaurant 10 minutes after the estimated pickup time to be told that it’s not ready yet. Then was brought my order quickly after. For it being “ready right then” it was not very warm. Boxes borderline cold to the touch. I knew driving home my expectations would not be met.

Bread bites: Marinara was very good. The bread was seemingly made from over proofed dough. Very airy and bubbly. Some were crispy, some doughy. Highly inconsistent.

Garlic parm wings: Mostly over cooked. Inconsistent. Some were dry. Others semi juicy. Peeling back from the bone to a point you can visually see it’s over cooked. And I got an artichoke disguised as a wing. Hope that didn’t count towards this dismal 1/2 lb of wings.

I ordered 3 pizzas, 16” Alfredo, 16” cheese, and 10” pepperoni.

Not at all impressed by the dough. Very Chewy and not very crispy, unless it’s one of the MANY bubbles in the crust and throughout the pizza, which it’s then either burnt or too crispy.

Not enough sauce on any of the pizzas. Definitely feels dry after having moisture cooked out of it.

Every slice was inconsistent to the slice next to it leading to a very different pizza experience in every slice.

The chicken on the Alfredo pizza was over cooked, dry and flavorless. Tasted like plain boiled chicken.

It may have won awards in Castle Rock, but this Za shop has leagues to go to be renowned.

Since many places in Castle Rock were closed on Monday, we thought we’d give this place a try. We’re glad we did. Service was fast and friendly, we were one of a handful of tables since it was past lunch hour. We ordered a pizza to take home and a meatball sandwich to eat while we waited. The meatballs were tender and juicy and the bun had just the right crispness and softness combination. Pizza was amazing. We had the pepperoni and sausage thick crust with marinara and mozzarella. Excellent pizza! We’ll definitely be back.

Wonderful Italian restaurant with amazing food and a fun, lively atmosphere. The pizza was excellent, the gnocchi was perfectly made—pillowy and full of flavor—and everything tasted fresh and authentic. The energy of the place made the experience even better. Highly recommend for a great meal and a great time. We’ll definitely be back!

Front of the house staff wasn’t really friendly, could hear the server saying “leave already people”, it’s like everyone refuses to smile or be polite. We just definitely didn’t get welcoming vibes from the staff members.

The food had potential to taste really great, but the cooks put way too much marinara sauce in the pasta and the lasagna was cold. Which we watched setup on the window for quite some time before being served to our table.

The overall experience was like hurry up and get out. We showed up at 8:45. The place didn’t close until 11:00.. we were just trying to get some good food and unwind from the long day but wasn’t going to happen here even though it had the perfect atmosphere for it but the wrong vibes from the staff.

On October 6th, I contacted the restaurant to confirm that we could pick up our Happy Hour order. The gentleman I spoke with assured me it would be no problem. I called again at 4:30 PM, during Happy Hour, and spoke with another team member to confirm that my husband would receive Happy Hour pricing upon pickup. After placing me on hold, she returned and confirmed, after checking with her manager, that the pricing would be honored.

However, when my husband arrived to pick up the food, he was not given the Happy Hour pricing.

I called the restaurant and spoke with the General Manager, who also identified himself as an owner. I explained the situation and requested a refund for the price difference. He responded, “We don’t do that.” When I explained that two separate employees had confirmed it was okay, he said, “Well, they are wrong, they know that,” and seemed to dismiss my concern.

I told him that if multiple employees are providing incorrect information, it reflects a failure in leadership, and the business should still honor what was promised. He then offered a gift card, but I declined and reiterated that I simply wanted the refund; it wasn’t about anything more than doing the right thing.

Eventually, he agreed, took down my name and mailing address, and said I would receive a “refund” but never indicated how much (it should have been about $45). Our total order was about $175.

Two weeks have passed, and I have yet to receive the refund or any follow-up.

This isn’t just about the money, it’s about integrity, accountability, and doing what’s right. While I’ve always enjoyed the food, I won’t be returning. Very disappointed.

I’ve been here twice now. The food is always good. The bartenders are friendly. It’s a move place to stop and have lunch with friends. I had the Hatch Green Chile sandwich with Paremesan and truffle sauce tots.. so yummy Update: we’ve been back a couple of times now. Always friendly service and great food. The Short Rib Benedict and the Brunch Calzones are Delicious I like the Short rib Benedict best and try the Bellini, I can’t remember the name, but the one with fresh mint is so yummy!

This place is amazing. The food was great. The service was pretty good and the atmosphere was very elegant. I had the blackened shrimp campanella and it was amazing. For a starter we got the spicy Italian sausage raviolis and they honestly were fantastic. My wife had the meatballs and a Caesar salad and she thought both were really good. The oil was spicy and delicious for the bread.
