We ordered pickup since we don’t like loud places. I like that we can order online! Last night was the first. My bf said it was the best Cheesesteak he’s ever eaten from the area. We agreed they also had the best Cream of Crab soup, it came with little toasts too which was also super delicious. I didnt know toast could be so good! Their fries are AMAZING. I love them! We ordered the Loaded potato skins which were also delicious, but for $12 I’d like more than just 3. We got the Cheese Bacon Ranch Fries, which were alright. Next time I’m getting their Loaded Baked Potato Soup for sure, chicken and fish and chips!!! We will definitely be back!!

We asked the front desk agent at the hotel for a recommendation on where to eat and he sent us here. Wow, what a great place. Perhaps the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Service was spectacular.

Best Irish Pub on the shore for sure! Great pub food and amazing atmosphere! The beer is always fresh and cold! Love Brian and Brandon! All of the staff is always very friendly and welcoming! Been a regular since 2009… Fish n chips never a miss, really everything is great! I’m not sure there isn’t anything I haven’t tried on the menu and I would recommend any dish to anyone that wants the flavor of the dish. It is truly an amazing place! Must visit if you come through the historic town of Eden/Denton MD!

The food was delicious. The chicken tenders were crispy and juicy. The shoestring french fries were a great addition. The Irish beef stew was fantastic. We ordered the potato skins which are a favorite of ours from back home and they did not disappoint. My only complaint was the quantity of potato skins for the price. We paid $14 and only received 3. As great as they are, I will not be ordering them in the future. I’m use to paying upwards of $12 for 6. Otherwise, it’s a nice place for some good food.

This place is awesome! They had a special on slam burgers for $8 a piece and we each got one. The quality of the ground beef was great, and the hand cut french fries are to die for! There was also a wide range of non-alcoholic beer for my husband, and they had tasty, strong margaritas. We left with three meals with drinks for under $60. The decor was abundant and awesome. They also had an enormous abominationable snowman that we took a picture with. The staff was extremely friendly and smiled a lot. Every employee that we walked by, said hello & greeted us. We felt welcome. As the night went on, more people started to pile in. Oh, I should also mention it only took about 10-12 minutes for our meals to come out, it was incredibly fast. Very impressed, and if we are ever through Denton again, we will definitely make a point to visit again. Thank you! (They also have veggie burgers and vegetarian options).

Excellent pub grub in the quaint little town of Denton. I highly recommend the smashburger and also like the hand-cut fries. Service was lacking during our lunch visit. It took a long time for our food order to be taken, and the food came out fresh and hot 15-min later. But we were never checked on afterwards so we had to grab our own ketchup bottle from the bar. My iced tea glass was empty for at least 45-min and I never got a refill, which I really wanted due to the scorching upper-90’s temps outside. After finally getting the bill, our waitress tried to pass off the poor service due to being busy, but it didn’t seem like a valid excuse from the customer’s point of view.

Second visit here camping nearby. They were not seating outside today but were able to accommodate us anyway since we had 3 dogs with us. Thanks for that…especially being understaffed! Waiter was efficient kitchen was quick, food tasted great. Love the crab soup this is the second time i’ve had that here and it does not disappoint!

The food was outstanding. The staff was The authentic cream of crab soup was delicious, and the ale-battered cod sandwich with coleslaw was equally impressive. We stopped by on a whim and ended up having our best lunch in months. As a picky eater with a budget-conscious companion, we were both satisfied. Surprised more people aren’t talking about this place!

As delicious as the food is, every time we come, we are stuck waiting to be served for an egregiously long time. This evening we arrived at 7:10 and just now at 7:54 we received our drinks. We also noticed that the wait staff did not seem to know where most of the food was going. Within the time we were waiting for drinks, we were asked no less than 3 times whether or not food belonged to our table. Then when our food DID come, the server asked ANOTHER table next to us, not us, and almost walked away and we had to explain that we DID order THAT.

Today was our first time at the Market Street Public House.

First, parking is free on weekends and holidays. Second, Denton is a cute, quaint town that’s unfortunately pretty much closed Sundays. We didn’t know this and walked around a deserted, although nice, town after eating lunch.

Our server (a young woman with brown hair that was in a bun) was so nice and attentive. For $72 our table of Four had three soft drinks, the reuben with French fries, cheesesteak sub, chicken quesadilla and the spicy Asian chicken salad. I was disappointed that the salad still cost $17 even though I requested no chicken (vegetarian). It’s not a huge deal but removing a protein should have dropped the price a few dollars. The dressing was delicious though.

The restaurant itself has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and a genuine Irish pub vibe with American bar food staples.

The women’s restroom was.. odd. There are essentially two bathrooms but only one exit (see photo). It would be incredibly uncomfortable to be in the further back restroom and having to wait until the woman left the first/front bathroom.

Overall, we enjoyed the food and it was reasonably priced with solid, friendly service. We aren’t likely to visit again because the town is an hour from us and felt dead despite it being a weekend.

If you’re in Denton you’ll enjoy the food and service at Market Street Public House, but probably won’t enjoy much more unless the shops are open.
