This place was a big food highlight on our trip. Everything lived up to our expectations. There are two restaurants nextdoor to one another serving the same food. We were seated right away and our waiter was very attentive to our needs. The food arrived fast and it was some of the best Mexican food we’ve ever had. The birria tacos are fantastic and the guacamole was the best I’ve had. The location is also great. Easy recommendation.

Should be a 10 Star. Don Sombrero Tequila & Taco Bar in Miami Beach was an outstanding experience from start to finish. It all began with Tony, the host, who was absolutely marvelous. He made sure we had the exact seat my wife wanted—and even when she changed her mind a couple of times, Tony didn’t bat an eye. His only goal was making sure we were completely satisfied, and it showed.
Marco was our waiter, and he was nothing short of amazing. He was professional, friendly, and his hospitality was second to none. His menu recommendations were spot on and truly elevated the entire meal.
The food itself was simply remarkable—authentic, flavorful, and hands down the best Mexican food I’ve had during my 10 days in Miami. Every bite was outstanding.

this restaurant has much better service than the one next-door. I originally walked to the one next-door. I sat down, but I got up and was so bad so I came here and I sat down and the service in the vibe was just so much better I was accompanied by Marcos. I ordered the fish tacos. They were absolutely banging. I got some guacamole too, which was also good. Definitely recommend

I normally don’t do this but the food was awful taco meat wasn’t cooked well the shells were basically cold and my husband food also poorly prepared and cold. The restaurant seems Mexican but owner and employees are from Uruguay or Argentina which is fine but if your going to sell Mexican food at least make it good. The restaurant is actually but can be very deceiving for tourists craving Mexican food in Miami
