Stopped by Spotted Duck Ice Cream on the way to Watkins Glen with my awesome wife – (she found this) and some friends and dang…. This place is very good. We all went for the ice cream flights and honestly enjoyed most of the flavors – unless you’re one of those people who loves every flavors out there. The kids had fun checking out the ducks but the real winner was the ice cream! We even spotted a peacock – (get it) roaming around the property which was a cool surprise. Just come here and eat some delicious ice cream. Totally worth it!

Great farm atmosphere! I forgot to take pictures of the ducks! The flavors I tried were great I did notice a weird almost oily residue while eating it though. Not sure what caused that. I tried the peach cobbler & the Seneca salted caramel flavors today. The woman who took our order was very nice and she even gave me a sample of the peach cobbler before I selected which flavor I wanted very kind of her. They sell merchandise like tee shirts, hats and sweatshirts. They also have a stand you can buy garlic and fresh cut flowers while you are there. My friend picked the flight of four different flavors. Just a heads up they close daily from 5-6 PM plan accordingly when visiting. It is usually super busy we happen to go and there was no wait. They also sell some flavors in pints in addition to flights, dishes, homemade cones, sundaes and homemade cookies. I have also been there and they sometimes have a food truck available to buy savory food items.

Write this review on a cold winter day because I miss this place. The best ice cream in the US! Organic flavors with aroma of duck eggs. I usually order an ice cream flight with 8 flavors. But if I have to pick, perhaps lavender or vanilla will be the best. The farm is also beautiful and peaceful. I want to spend time here every summer! (O, maybe they heard me and I just learned that they started offering farm stay!)

Loved everything about this adorable place! We chose the 8-scoop flight which included all of the flavors available that day. There was a great variety of flavors, both unique and traditional. The atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming. I loved meeting the ducks! I definitely recommend stopping here and enjoying a scoop or flight!

Everyone just said wow.
Great tasting ice cream including cones.
Dairy free flavors are available, but no vegan.
Large backyard with enough picknick tables to sit and enjoy the ice cream, or walk around and watch ducks and a peacock.
There is a stand with fresh garlic – self serve – leave cash.
100% recommended!
And the price is great – $5 for 2 scoops.

The various flavors of frozen custard made from duck eggs are phenomenal! So delicious. You need to try it just once.

Really good ice cream. Had some fun flavors like a delicious vanilla, a homemade cookies and cream, a blueberry lavender that was actually delicious, and even one that was corn flavored! (I did not like this one, it came across as kind of vegetal and leading tasting) they’ve even got a list of pints to go, which we got matcha and hot mud lol. Hot mud is chocolate and jalapeno flavored and I’m excited to try it. Would go again, we just happened to be in the area passing by.

Absolutely delicious!! Such a cute little ice cream shop with interesting flavors. My favorite was the Fleur Bleu (blueberries and lavender). They also had dairy free options

Delicious creamy icecream. We chose to do a flight of 4. You get a decent sample of icecream in each one. They mint chip has really mint in it. The cookies and cream with chocolate chip cookies was yummy. All flavors were so good that we cpuld not decide on which one we liked best. They also have lots of ducks, chickens and a peacock. The bathroom was super clean which is a big plus. There are multiple picnic tables in the yard so you can sit out and enjoy your icecream with nature.

We came out of curiosity. There were a lot of people in line but the line moved fast. I will be honest, the custard was really good but I am not able to really notice the difference between using duck’s eggs or chicken’s. We had several samplers. The Wicked Chocolate and the Java Junction were really good choices. Sweet Corn was a new experience for me and it was good to try something new and different.
