Absolutely delicious and authentic Peruvian food. I’ve been looking for an Aji De Gallina dish like my Tia’s and finally found it! My group got 4 different dishes; lomo saltado, pollo a la pobre, arroz con pollo, and ají de gallina. By far, every single one was deliciously authentic and fresh. Not to mention massive portion sizes to leave you with leftovers, in true Peruvian fashion.

The food is good. Definitely unique. The portions are big enough to split between 2 people.
The service is really slow and you have to flag down help.

Love the seco de res here is the best around. I come to salt lake a least 4 times per month and every time I come here for lunch it is absolutely delicious. Consistency on flavors of the seco de res reminds me my mom food. Meat is very tender sauce is on point

I believe this place is family owned. The daughters waited our table. They did such a good job! The restaraunt is upgrading to a new location, so you can ignore previous comments about location and condition.
We went as an assignment for my son’s Spanish class. This was our first time eating Peruvian food, so I have nothing to compare it to. The appetizer was completely unique and fun. We ordered a variety of dishes to share and enjoyed them all. We are not seafood people, but ordered the ceviche on recommendation. Glad we did. It was delicious and super flavorful.

We visited this restaurant on January 6 to celebrate my son’s birthday. The place was empty, and it still took 20–30 minutes for the food to arrive. As a Peruvian, I can say the food quality has gone downhill and was far from authentic. The Lomo saltado had what seemed like frozen potatoes, the beans were canned instead of canario beans, and my noodles were extremely salty and greasy. Overall, the food was disappointing.
The biggest issue was the bill. A gratuity was added between the line items without being clearly disclosed. In addition, they claim to offer a 4% “discount” for paying in cash, but in reality, they add 4% to the total (including the tip) if you pay by card. This was not clearly posted for customers, and when I asked about it, the waiter became argumentative and dismissive.
Because of the poor food quality, deceptive charging practices, and lack of professionalism, I do not recommend this place.

I came to this restaurant with my family a few days ago, it was 4 of us plus a toddler and was charged a tip on my bill. Tips are added when you have 5 people at the table but we had a toddler with us not an adult. Had I not noticed that the tip was added I would’ve probably left another tip on top since it was weirdly placed on the bill at the top when it’s usually at the bottom of the receipt.

Our waiter was attentive and friendly and checked on us numerous times. I thought the food was better than other Peruvian restaurants in Utah that I’ve been too. Had a group of 8 and our food was brought fairly quickly. Prices were a bit on the pricy side.

It was my first time trying Peruvian food and it did NOT disappoint! We got the tacu tacu con seco de carne and pollo con arroz and they were both delicious! A bit heavy on the salt, which we weren’t salty about but some might be. The chicha morado was also such a delicious drink. And we loved the cancha and sauces served at the beginning. Just overall loved it all, great experience

Not going to lie, I didn’t know what to expect from Peruvian food. The food was mediocre at best. I had a steak with an over easy egg on top with rice. It was “traditional” Peruvian food but I couldn’t have spent less money and ordered the same thing from a diner for $9. Cleanliness was lacking and the waiter seemed unsure of what we were ordering. The fish is easily identifiable as pre packaged and then fried. I wasn’t impressed enough to go back again.

It is NOT a place I would recommend: 1. They automatically CHARGE THE TIP on the bill, rather than letting customers decide the amount. 2. The PORTIONS ARE SMALL for the price, so it didn’t feel like a good value. 3. SERVICE WAS POOR; we had to ask the waiter (who might be the owner) for basic items like ice and the sauce, and he never brought the ice to us. 4. The TASTE WAS AVERAGE for Peruvian cuisine, good, but not outstanding. We ordered the green soup, but it was very salty. We couldn’t finish it.
