Also the pizza is doughy and a large pizza costs 21 dollars and not worthwhile. A frozen pizza from Aldis will satisfy better. Do not waste your money or time on this experience.
When I walked in, there were two women at the register. One of them, who was taller, was incredibly kind. She laughed with me about the mix-up, and we joked about it. It made an embarrassing moment feel lighthearted, and I really appreciated her warmth.
The other employee, however, was much colder. I tried to joke with her as well and even complimented her hair and glittery eye makeup, but she didn’t respond or acknowledge me. I brushed it off at the time and figured maybe she was having a long day or was the one who answered my earlier phone calls and felt annoyed. She ended up being the one who checked me out.
When I got home, I realized my wings were missing the garlic parmesan sauce. Thankfully, I had time on my lunch break to return. When I went back, the same employee took the box without making eye contact, didn’t apologize for the mistake, and simply added the sauce in the back before handing it back to me. There was no acknowledgment, no courtesy, and no “have a nice day.”
As a Black woman, I couldn’t help but wonder if there was something more behind the coldness I experienced. I never want to assume the worst about someone, but when basic courtesy is missing, it does make you question things. At the very least, I believe everyone deserves kindness and professionalism, especially in customer service.
I’ve lived in this area for almost six months and this was my first visit to this location. After this experience, I can understand why the rating sits where it does. I truly hope this feedback encourages better training and reminds everyone how much small acts of courtesy can impact someone’s day.
I had placed two orders via the app using the same login and card: one for pizza and a second transaction for a 2L soda. When I picked up the food, I asked for the soda, but she dismissed me immediately, claiming there was no second order. I had to drive around the building to pull up my receipt details. When I returned to the window with the proof of purchase, her refusal to help was baffling:
Refused to look up by Order Number: I offered the order number, and she told me it was “too long” and she “couldn’t type all that in.”
Refused to look up by Payment: She claimed she couldn’t verify the order using the transaction amount or card details.
Refused to check recent orders: When I asked if she saw a standalone order for a 2L soda placed immediately after mine, she refused to answer, claiming it was a “security issue” to reveal that information. It is a soda pickup, not a bank transaction.
Finally, she asked for my phone number and found the order immediately. It turned out the app had glitched and put the second order under a different name, but since both orders were attached to the same phone number I had just provided, she likely saw it on her screen the entire time. It felt like she was intentionally making the situation difficult rather than simply handing me the item I had paid for. Management needs to address this level of laziness and hostility toward customers.
