The service was pleasant unfortunately the meal was bland lacking flavor I ordered seafood trio it was drenched in a water base and had absolutely no flavor. The fried cauliflower was excellent.

Not sure what happened….USED TO love the steak tips. Flavorful! Cooked to order to perfection. NOT ANY MORE.
Now, I don’t even know why they bother to ask how you’d like them cooked. Regardless, all seem to come out well done (or close to it), and very tough.
We’re medium-rare fans. Not even close. This is not just one occurrence. We’ve given them several chances, recently (knowing everyone has a bad day, on occasion).
Portions seem smaller while the price has increased. No thanks.
Service is always good. Bartender is friendly.
Just overall very disappointed, lately. Will take a break.

I went to the 99 restaurant in Vernon CT for lunch after leaving a Dr’s office&Ordered a Classic burger cooked Medium well.Unfortunately it Came out nearly Raw! After waiting awhile to get someone to send it back so it Could be Cooked Correctly, it Eventually came back well done so I ended up Settling for it because I was Starving at the time!! It Will be awhile before I Return to this 99 restaurant because I Felt Disappointed with the Initial Experience of (Undercooked Food) the Bartender Kelly Tried to Correct the situation as best as she could? This is Why I’m Only Giving my HONEST Review of this 99 restaurant in Vernon CT of 3 stars

Went there to get my order. I had a pick up for 6pm. I did not get my food until almost 6:30. I should’ve been able to get my family meal for free. I may or may not come back for a while. It depends what the owner can do.

Nice Family Restaurant- Wait Staff- are super polite and very helpful,
My order of simple chicken and steak tips, was cooked to perfection- I like my steak medium rare and will always be very judgmental about that.
My option on the chicken was make it spicy, so they buffaloed it.. Very tasty sauce i might add. Also my meal would be perfect for a person imbibing a few beers while watching the sports. So you must be asking why only 4 stars– Well the decor is extremely outdated- and well worn in if you get my meaning. But for a family that is not so picky with the eye candy- I would say that this location delivers pretty good meals.

Went out with the family and it was a great time. They have something for everyone and on the night we went they happen to be doing a trivia at the bar so we joined in and it was a whole vibe. There was at least 40 people all playing and very engaged
